Ya, nothing is possible really.. Make your own business that becomes very popular, it will eventually be bought out and turn into crap because you can just look and see how crappy KFC, Wendys, and McDonald's has become after their owners died or sold it to some crappy investors.
One day after thinking on all of this, I asked him what he felt like. He told me that he has no idea what it feels like to be out of his 20s. I'm 15. He is 64, born in the late 40s. I'm sure there is a lesson in there somewhere.
The only 4 things he hasn't done in life are be an astranaut (he treid but found out he was to tall), be a physicist, a doctor (which he gave up for another career which led him to my mom), and work in a restaurant. He has traveled the world, practiced several religions, is a trained figther (but his childhood hero is superman) and seems to have a black whole of like that oulls everyone to him, regardless of who. He has seen every episode of COPS atleast 5 times.
My dad is optimistic and open minded. He likes to play small pranks on random people he doesn't know, and conduct social experements. He is one of the most layed back people I have ever met, but can get the job done. He has had almost every job imaginable from constructing a golf corse to being the world expert on Nigeria to an informant/spy/anything that involvess 1+ governments.
Great, now, if I take what you said as absolute truth then the peak of my life was when I was 10, I'm not old, heck I've just become an adult and I already am "older" than that 70 year old guy who lives 2 floors below me...
I really like that the 'best selling novelist' is a 'she'. Maybe it's just a small thing, and I know it makes it an easier dialogue because it was sound funny to say 'how much older he is than him'. I guess, it just surprised me :)
2:34... this is how a 53-year-old looks like?? on a great meta-level this video shows how young you are, that you have such a misconception on people old...^^
0:42 - anyone who looks that old with 41 - poor them!
Hi Lev, I'm sure you don't remember me, but we got coffee @ MOMA and hung a few times about 4 years ago, ate at my friend's restaurant and I gave you a zippo for your birthday. Wow, I can't believe how popular your videos are now. Wishing you continued success, you deserve it! :) -Ashley P.s. I can relate to this video haha!
That last statement is impecibly true. The reason that youth is so nice is because we had no worries, and no freakin' idea what the future would hold. :)
I'm in my 20s and I can tell you that there's nothing fun in being an adult. Your teenage years where you go to school and your parents pay for everything and you don't have to worry about anything are the best years of your life.
Once you turn 20, everything just starts going downhill.
Hm, I wish I was still in high school, I mean I was a kinda lousy teenager but I'm a terrible adult, I just don't know what to do with myself now I don't have the recognisable structure of school to govern my occupational, aspirational and social behaviour.
My grandpa was a juvenile delinquent as a kid. When he was in his 50's i was born and all of his past thoughts about whatever disappeared and i became the center of his world, and he would think about how one day i'd become a beautiful woman =) ....god damn i miss my grandpa T_T i wish he could see how much i've grown now that i'm 18
Every video I watch from you just make me think and think and think... Deeper and deeper, You sure have talent for making people questionning about their lives.
@SktMew haha im 21 it sucks, mainly because i wanted to be part of a new age of music and style that blows away dominance of all other genres for a while like that of punk.
@hideHYDEimcoming and i wanted it to happen before i hit 20 i can still catch the tail end of whatever the new thing will be though so not too fecked.
I listen to old music in the hopes that it will one day be cool again, and then I'll be cool for the first time in my life. Sometimes I wonder if I'm wasting my highschool years.
the last bit is very deep. I'm a physics graduate and I just know that too many things are impossible to be motivated anymore. all that motivates me now is findin a quick painless way to kill myself.
Hmm, it brings across a good point but I think there is a difference between mental age and physical age, therefore feeling youthful at an old age is still well within reach.
apssht, I'm 16 right now, and I just wanna be 18 so I can start living my life the way I want to. Of course it's probably not that simple but whatever, i'm being young an optimistic! Funny how when you're young you just wanna be older, and when you're older you want to be young again...
16? So what about 16? I'm 16 and wish I was 12 again! All this "growing up" crap pretty much begins now, I say no thanks. I'm well aware how shitty life is gonna be as soon as I finish up with school, I'd rather not have to deal with that, thanks.

14 too and same.... I always feel like I'm... Maturing more rapidly i guess in my same grade than others most of the time. I mean, even the fact I'm watching this and not some brainless youtube video about a laughing baby or something makes me feel like that. Also, at school I always have a harder time relating to people of my same age while I can talk to adults and have a perfectly reasonable conversation and not have to through out boner jokes just to keep things interesting.
@Baxbound yeah i can relate you on that. im 16 but trust me youll find a group of friends you can relate to and when you do the good times will come :)
@monkeyholeful Funny, because 2 months later now in my Freshman year, I have actually found a very interesting group of people that enjoy talking about more complicated issues and even random scatterbrained debates (i.e. Is it possible to melt a tree? :3) than most kids my age usually bother discussing. It is fun, just to rant about whatever you want and get some interesting output now. I still have the kind of friends that aren't, but I appreciate my new ones a lot more. :D
@MrZshosh well then.. just go after the things u want and enjoy everything in its time.. when ur young do what you like to do and when ur older do what you want to do aswell.. and know that nothing matters in the end (in matters of lively things)

@swiftflightgatorox That comment would seem valid only if Lady GaGa wasnt such hopeless trend and doesnt really sound that much different then alot of other typical cliché disco artists. ..
I feel anythings possible i usually say im gonna "reach the stars and drag them down and make em mine" i just turned 16 yesterday lets hope i say that for atleast 8 more years
@WrongRainbow Then let me breath new hope into your current dismay by saying that your 30's will be the most amazing rollercoaster of your life. Trust me on this one.
When I grow up I don't want to look like those people on buses or trains with worn out expressions, evident to their sad miserable lives they're in.
I want to look like those people with partners to laugh and chat with,so that when people are to judge me,they'd assume that my life is full of wondrous things, and they'd wish they were me.
Ya, nothing is possible really.. Make your own business that becomes very popular, it will eventually be bought out and turn into crap because you can just look and see how crappy KFC, Wendys, and McDonald's has become after their owners died or sold it to some crappy investors.

I'm pretty sure that when I'm old I'm still going to like Lady GaGa, regardless of what the world thinks...
swiftflightgatorox 9 months ago
@swiftflightgatorox That comment would seem valid only if Lady GaGa wasnt such hopeless trend and doesnt really sound that much different then alot of other typical cliché disco artists. ..

Actually, I believe he draws on tracing paper that is taped to a glass table. The camera is facing up, so he writes backwards, which is awesome.

This is depressing
