Most of the Faroes people are of Norwegian and celtic decent even though its history as Danish colony. Alaskan eskimos hunt 50 bowhead whales a year, all approved by usa government. Bowhead whale weighs 20-30 heavier than pilot whales. Faroe hunt 950 pilot whales a year, you do the math. US is actually bigger whaler killer than Fareo islands if you look at total tonnes.

When they hunt grind whales one time per year they show their real face.
They slit them off and let bleed them out over a few hours. But yes if you are not a whale great beautiful landscape with horrible people.
