What's impressive about this race is that Bolt is way ahead, yet even the person in last place is running around 10.01 (very fast), then 3rd place Asafa Powell is running 9.85 or so probably, Tyson Gay ran a time which in any other time period would make him the fastest man on earth (9.71) yet Bolt is just that far ahead.
@basitein: I also like how you put down your 100m time. My time is 11.62, that was about a year and a half ago though when I was 18. Hopefully I can run 11.40 this year =)

It's been calculated that humans can only go so fast (though some runners have surpassed those calculations), also the way in which human beings naturally run isn't the most efficient method, and running the 100m requires more technique than you would think (takes years to perfect it). Also there are no such thing as lifting weights in the junglereally
