yh nothing like a northampton accent, but i cant cant fault Steve for that, to the comment a couple back, they left out the WATERING CAN bit which made me crack up
"she has to water his plants Toby, plants need watering!""It's quality of life!" "is it a dolorean!"I keep meaning to watch this "in the loop" but I want to watch from the start!
What gives, i saw this last night ans this segment of film was not in it, what is the point of giving us a trailer if the trailer is not included in the actual film:-(
sibionic - wht with your anti-Coogan-ness? He's a Manc, acting as a Manc, so the accent slipping makes no sense. The fact his name is Paul, probably hints at his Paul Calf character, which you could argue is Coogan using aanother tool from this limited repertoire, but a few characters done well are better than a bucket load of shit.
Actually Steve Coogan is the only dud thing about the film. He's no longer funny and he can't act - see also his horrible performance in season 6 of Curb. He's in it cos he's a mate of AI's.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
huh? Not funny, and the fact you think his accent 'slipping back' has comedy merit is overly generous - it 'slipped back' cos he's not a great mimic. Steve Coogan hasn't been funny for years. *years*. I wish he'd ***** off.

One of the funniest lines has been cut here for some reason
'She's only got a watering can' - I near pished myself in the cinema when he said it.
Not a funny line in itself, granted, but Coogan delivers it brilliantly,,,,,

He is a good mimic, he started off as an impressionist. This is OK but not as funny as usual.
