Even though it was mutual, I think I've played this song a over a hundred times since my love and I broke up last Monday. Much of it, but not all of it seems so fitting, except I don't hate him. I still love him very dearly and he says he does me, but it just didn't work out. Still, it hurts and Diana seems so expressive of my own feelings in the song and that shoulder thing... he loved it. Good song.
yes I agree with you..im one of her biggest fan's..anyway I'll be seeing her here in May..she's playing at radio city music hall..I always enjoy seing her glamour and glitz!!
This should've hit bigger, yes. But IMO people guess why Diana doesn't for the wrong reasons. If this had been a Madonna or Cristina or Mariah, their images just are different. Diana's come so far, and has the whole family and together image now for several years, it's like you don't picture her doing house music, but more MOR stuff. I think that would bring her back to her core fans in the U.S. charts - although, of course, she has the right to keep on choosing whichever music she likes best.
what you said is true, she could have done an album like Cher did...it would have been a huge hit, maybe the biggest of her life, but as you know miss ross believe's in class and elegance....lol,its hard to make a Diva change course...lol..but i love her for it!!!!she's my fav of all time..ive seen her live many time's,if you ever get a chance...see her!!she never dissapoint's
@only1tanay diana did a cher like album with great dance cuts in the early 90's and again with the take me higher album. diana has been very consistent with her dance songs...at least one or two on each album. all of her 90's albums were great albums that were overlooked in USA because of the hatefulness you guys and your press gave her in the 90's. meanwhile the rest of the world...and especially europe... kept loving her. long reign diana!
The lady is AMAZING...So beautiful... How sad that Diana Ross does not chart in the USA anymore. She should be a staple on the charts...This should have been a huge hit in the US
I love this track... mislaid my cd with it on but enjoyed all of the songs!

Its funny how all the divas returned in the late 90s with techno/dance/house tracks:
Diana Ross - Not Over You Yet
Tina Turner - When The Heartache Is Over
Cher - Believe
Donna Summer - I Will Go With You

This should have been a big hit when it came out in 1999.

She is 55 years old in this videoclip and you can't see any wrinkles in her skin.

HOT track!
Why this version wasn't released in the US, I'll never know...
The same's true of "EDIAND"'s title track.
Missed opportunities...
