God, control decks are so boring. Counter, counter, counter, and 20 turns later they finally do something. At least we don't have Superman decks anymore that run a total of one or two critters.

There you go, ANOTHER pro tour final where the final game is lost to mana screw :/
Why hasn't MTG copied any other TCG's mana system by now? They could have done it 7+ years ago already, and by now people would think back to how terrible magic used to be. Make the change today!
I'm guessing you're a little kid who has never lost $ to mana screw, right? It's the most frustrating thing on the planet, losing $ to a design flaw that should have been fixed years ago.
He just lost $20,000, that's TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS, to mana screw. Many people don't make 20K in an entire year, so it's like he just lost 1+ years wages. Do you understand the magnitude of this mana screw yet?
Manascrew is part of the game. And it's not a "just do away with it to fix it" thing. It's a HUGE part. It's not magic without the mana...thats what balances the cards. Amazing effects cost more. And at least its not as bad as it used to be. A game that kinda works around that is the WoW TCG, its pretty fun. I suggest you give that a try if you want a more or less "mana less" game.
You'd still be developing mana at a maximum of 1 a turn (baring mana accel), and you'd still have colors of mana.
Think of it as always being able to draw a land when you want one, and not drawing one when you don't. No more taking a 2 land hand and waiting 14 turns for a 3rd.
So you're saying that Magic is a flawed game because there's a possibility that you won't get the cards you need? Man, I never really realized how unfair these card games were. Now that you mention it, lots of people lose money to poker, I think that game should be fixed too! I agree 100%, make the change today! [/sarcasm]
You're still going to have other cards, and you're still going to need to know how to play.
You're just removing the part that allows the worlds worst magic player to beat the worlds best magic player. <-- That's the exact reason WotC says they won't remove it, pretty stupid right?
1:17 how do luis get a ranger out?... he tapped only 2 lands after his kitchen finks were countered??

Welcome to Magic. Manascrew is life. Maybe you should go play some yugioh and forget about mana.

I don't get it, what's yugioh have to do with anything?
