  • cant see anything really

  • Ik heb altijd gehoord dat onderwaterlasser een gevaarlijk beroep is, is dit echt levensgevaarlijk of is het zwaar overdreven? ik ben van opleiding lasser en wil dit misschien wel doen

  • i'm guessing fumes are not a problem lol...

  • I love peoples misconceptions of how much money we make and the actual nature of our work.

  • damn cool job!

  • Gracias por el video nunca habia visto soldadura submarina te pondre 5 estrellas!!

  • cool and crazy !!!

  • Thats COOL!

  • wooo, gotta love that hazard pay :). I might get into this but not until I join the marines. too expensive for me to go to college for.

  • i have 1welder friend. he can earn 300$ an hour..damn!

  • they make serious money one guy told me he was making 145$ an hour starting off

  • @xSOUTHERNxREBELx You make about 145 dollars an hour, but you only are actually welding a couple months out of the year usually (plus welding doesn't take hours and hours). It's one of those jobs that pays a lot in a small period, but in that small period you are usually thousands of feet underwater risking your life both from the pressure when going up, and the electricity while you are down. Not for everyone, but an admirable skill no doubt.

  • You can be a good diver, and earn a lot of money with it. But you´ll never be a good diver and a good welder.

Good welders are kept dry! ;-)

  • can you weld pipe underwater?

  • I love I'm sixteen

  • dosent it shock you?

  • @GHSergioSH not as long as you got your gloves and everything on... if you have a tear in your gloves you could get the shock of your life

  • WET WELDING: Welding power supply is located on the surface with connection to the diver/welder via cables and hoses.

Hyperbaric Welding (dry welding): There is a risk to the welder/diver of electric shock.

  • hye bro!

    u lo0k sow greet!

anyway how i can to be you!

    means..

i to approve welding in undewater!

    can you explain wet me.

    huhu..

  • first step for you brutha.

    english

  • @docstruthers God damn, it's people like you that make me embarrassed for being an American. He was born, raised, works, and lives in Belgium... so I'm pretty sure that's the language he should speak to. I'm sure he is VERY sorry that he has caused any incredible discomfort for speaking what he speaks, but if you impose and force your customs on him enough, I'm sure he'll catch on. Fearing what we don't understand is fun! AMERICA!

  • @Ichvyenichalster People like me embarass you? damn buddy you need to get out more and meet more people. and you completely misunderstood my statement SO I will ignore your idiotic response.

  • im planning on becoming an underwater welder. i'm getting a welding degree and going to take a commercial diving course in California.

do you know some potential employers of underwater welders? I know of some companies that involve diving, but do you know some that work more so with underwater welding?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • What courses or degrees or classes (you get the idea) do you need to become a under water welder

  • You have to have a welding certificate (Usually takes a year at a tech school), then you take an underwater welding classes

  • hey...

im in australia you need to do a dive course first then do 4 years of work experiance as a diver then you need to do your underwater weldind degree at tafe with cost you heaps i think it was 4grand to sit the course then if you fail you have to pay another 4 grand to redo it im pretty sure it takes you 4-6 years to complete

  • Im in oz too, dont even bother doing a course for it.

Unless u live overseas where the nth sea would be a high demand for underwater welders,we dont have much of a demand for it.

If we did have any work it would be very random,Plus its a 1 in 97-98 death rate.

  • sounds wikid

    Good luck

  • speak english

  • @codysam9 fuck you, is this english?

  • finally an awesome underwater welding video... where is this if i may ask? how much are ya'll earning?

  • In a training tank in Belgium
