Yeah, that is the bad side of being a fan of a show like this, if it comes to an end you wont realize that its gone. Maybe I am overreacting, but Stargate was/is a constant in my "life", it is my favourite Tv-show, I grew up with it. And now, when you know there is no new episode coming, it feels like shit.

stargate atlantis sucks like the first stargate series, i always hated myself for watching any episode because there was no more star trek. in fact, almost every episode plot was like 20th generation copy of a star trek episode idea. i think the accents are exaggerated if not fake. just because some actors look like baldwin, tarantino, lopez or whomever else is the current celebrity out there, doesnt up the notch on the "nifty to sell/improve the show" totem. tasteless.

A short history lesson kid: Doctor Who first aired in the Uk in 1964. The show ran for nearly 20 years until it was canned in the early 90's. The current show is a re-boot of the original series. Tom Baker played the doctor in the 70's/very early 80's for 8 years. He was wonderful, and is considered by most fans to be the top Doctor. Only David Tennant has come close to his popularity. He really inhabits the role in the same way Baker did. And that's why we love him, right?

actually David Tennant has recently surpassed Tom Baker as the favorite doctor, but this is probably because it is more of a world wide show know and more people get in on the voting :) Both are excellent though

A "reboot" implies that it is not in fact a continuation of the series. They have made a point frequently of linking the current Doctor to previous ones, continuity-wise. "Batman Begins" was a reboot.  "Doctor Who" is not.

Dr Who started late 1963 - the week Kennedy was killed. It ran until 1989, a 26 year run. There were seven Doctors to that point.

Tom Baker was the fourth Doctor from 1974-1981, a seven year term.

Tennant is clearly enjoying himself - a trait he shared with Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee who remains the superior Doctor.

YES! ATLANTIS WON!!!! I really loved it when SG-1 won - I think it was a Spacey - and RDA was like "I would like to thank everyone that voted for us, and those of you who didn't . . SCREW YOU!" That was hilarious. And I also love when Atlantis won the 2007 Spacey and they all tried to take it for themselves. Ah... the good times XD
