There is more to singing opera then either a Eb6 or even an F6. Please people, try to hear some of the other notes too. The world can be destroyed by many other notes, provided they are sang with authority. Try some Ewa Podles, Christa Ludwig, or Ebe Stignani low notes. They are beautifully rich and satisfaying.

Gaga is an ok singer, regardless of type, but you cant compare to Joan Joan is one of the great female Opera voices ever, gaga isnt one of the greatest pop voices, and no she doesnt have a 4 octave range thank you there are many great pop voice. Beyonce has 3 some change octave range in full voice,she has tight technique, control and etc. the bad thing one could say about Beyonce's voice is that its thin at the top. i feel that doesnt mean much consider she is mezzo and she tops off at a B6.

"4octaves" is often a marketing gimmick use in pop music to boost an artist credibility much like Mariah Carry in the 90s, who also doesn't have a 4 octave range.Concerning Joan, she, Mado Robins and measha brueggergosman are my favorite sopranos.although Measha still needs alot of work but i feel she is well on her way to being the great soprano of my generation.

No: not true. "Lady" Gaga, who is clearly anything but a lady, sings electopop and her voice is highly edited by autotune and other such software. This is commercial "music", if you can call it that.

There is more to singing opera then either a Eb6 or even an F6. Please people, try to hear some of the other notes too. The world can be destroyed by many other notes, provided they are sang with authority. Try some Ewa Podles, Christa Ludwig, or Ebe Stignani low notes. They are beautifully rich and satisfaying.
