everytime we tried to go there and make a diff in starting common companies with portuguese investment to make a vibrant economy with agriculture to feed the people build hosp and schools they always pushed us away they are hidding smething and want europeans away for obvious reasons they have hijacked the country and its resources for themselfs all the former anti colonialist guerrilla are noe the dictators, and portugal is a poor country we could be helping eachother but they refuse to do so

I can back up what junglejammin, because I am from GUINEA BISSAU, the country where the film was made. The Portuguese are the responsible for what's happen, and happening in the country. After what happen in 1998, they had an hand in Joao Bernardo Vieira, return to power( 2005), that he held for 25 years. I can back up everything I am stating here!
