  • I read somewhere that Haunting Ground was supposed to be Clock Tower 4 originally.

  • OMG I juz make the second part of the stone, then I put on the statues. I got the third part haven't finish! how do I get back the prima materia? I'm stuck in this part! please help me!I doing the wrong thing is I put the silver ore on the statues, how to get it back? or how to get back my prima materia? please help me, I'm very confused of this part! @.@

  • How do you record your videos without a camera and what microphone do you use I was gonna try and do a lets play because you make them look easy and they are AWESOME

  • Lol

Silent Hill ain't got nothing on Haunting Ground XD

    I love this game :3

And that stalkers make it scary, cause when I was playing once, I was leaving the room, and I walked out and Daniella was standing RIGHT AT THE DOOR, and I'm like OH SHIT xD

Great vid, btw :D and the commentary made it worth watching :) *thumbs up*

But how do you unlock other costumes, such as Plush Hewie or Frog Fiona costume? O__o

If anyone knows, please tell me ^^

Do you have to get the bad ending?

  • @Ratkelly42261 I think you have to get the bad ending to get Hewie's German Shepherd costume and Fiona's "illegal in some states" costume.

  • play rule of rose then compare it to this, i want to hear your thoughts

  • omg is ricardo everywhere? the music is usually stopped and he didnt show up. why? to scare about when he will be?

  • You handle those medallions the same way I did. At first, I tried to slowly hit each sphere to get something, but after a few times of trying that, I just rapidly hit the button and just went with luck. Oddly enough, it seems to work better.

  • Ok, in this game you can have Hewie take on the stalkers, he makes it a bit easy, i feel clock tower has a feeling of helplessness, but i've never seen CT3, so if im wrong about something, tell me

  • Comment removed

  • I just realised the medallion machine looks like the sephirot (NOT SEPHIROTH, YOU FFVII FANBOYS). Thats been in how many japanese media now?

NGE, FMA, FFVII, the list goes on.

  • But you understand CT3's storyline? Some girl has magical powers that become present at 15, ... so she has to go back in time and stop ghosts from being sad and all these people just happen to see her watch them commit a crime? At least this game started out like, "Hey, this game is gonna be a little weird, but still cool." CT3 just was too out there for me.

  • agreed. clock tower after first fear and two just got bad. this is way better.

  • I gotta say, I think the stalkers here are *way* scarier than the ones in CT3, but that's just my opinion.

  • Great videos! Keep up the good work!

  • You keep saying "sorry this is borning" But I like watching ya play. I used to watch my friends play all the time. And I wanted to finish this game but I got upset... and to scaried to finish. BUT YOU ROCK!!! thanks keep PLAYING!!!!

  • riccardo is abit scary as well considering he has a gun, well and his music is a bit creepy too

  • I think that HG is Capcom trying to fix the shit, aka CT3, that they gave out.

  • I see Clock Tower 3 as more of a game that could and should have been more. I mean, it's just obvious how much better it could have been when you look at Haunting Ground in comparison. CT3 just seemed incomplete at times, and beating the game didn't provide you with any real feeling of success or accomplishment. It's not that the game is TERRIBLE. But it's not really good either...it's sort of....whatever.

  • I see what you're trying to say here, sort of. I think what you're trying to say here is that CT3 just wasn't as well thought out as it could have been.

  • Aha! That's exactly it! ^^

It just lacked planning and touches that would have made it better.

  • The stalkers in CT3 are annoying, and are really random. I mean that in the sense that the stalkers don't really fit into the plot line, and that they aren't really scary. Not to mention the plot, as Kat said, is simplistic. A lot of the bosses and stalkers seemed like they were wedged into the plot, like pieces of a puzzle that LOOK like they should fit - but don't. In HG (CT4) the plot may remind some of us of FMA gone horribly wrong, it gets us going and has horrifying moments.

  • heh, it does seem like FMA :D

  • I never even watched FMA, I had a roomie who was OBSESSED with that show my freshmen year of college. All this talk about alchemy.

  • I had a friend who was obsessed with it aswell and she still is to this day, tho we aren't friends. She acts VERY childish about it making it seem like she knows everything about alchemy and homunculi. It got old fast.

  • Yea, I lived with this person temporarily in the dorms. She and I aren't friends any more, but goodness gracious was her FMA obsession annoying.

  • they are really annoying, and they don't go away. like, you have no chance of hiding because they're on your frickin' heals the entire time. the only one that was remotely creepy was the hammer guy, i think it was the first stalker. he was relentless...this game is very creepy and creative. and the story is very thought out. i also like the main character a lot better. fiona acts realistically and is truly frightened. plus the voice actors are amazing. i'd want to play this game myself.

  • I remember watching an LP by Ssskinner (I think that's how you spell it) which had at least 10 videos of her trying to get away from, and figure out how to thwart the hammer guy. The thing that turned me off to CT3 is that it was very cartoonish, with moments that were reminiscent of Sailor Moon (the bow scene when you fight the hammer guy). I understand if that's the style - but it totally turned off the scary. However, HG (CT4), as much as it reminds me of FMA is still very scary in parts.

  • agreed. :D and yes, ssskinner took a LOONG time to get away fromt the hammer dude. he chased her longer than any of the other stalkers, and just when you thought he might be gone, he shows up. again.

  • I know this is an old-ish post but whatever. XD I watched ssskiner play CT3 as well, and I agree with her. She was like, "At first this game was scary... but now it's just WEIRD." And that's really true. Like the hammer guy was actually kind of scary when you watch him hit that little girl with the sledgehammer. But then the Sailor Moon and fantasy stuff really threw me off.

  • ha ha, it's ok. they were old posts, but whatever. CT3 changed drastically. it started out very creepy and disturbing with Sledgehammer guy, and the piano playing randomly was edgy. but by the time you got to the 3rd stalker (who was it again..), the game felt like..well..a different game. it wasn't creepy or horror-like, it was just messed up and weird. and that really threw me off the CT3 bandwagon, because i was liking it at first.

  • Exactly. That was the whole reason I even bothered to watch the Let's Play CT3 videos because it was scary and interesting at first, and then I realized how odd it really was and then I was like, ... OKAY WTF IS GOING ON HERE?

  • Oh god seriously. All your posts are entirely true.

  • lol Thank you very much. XD

  • The background music will disappear as well and it will go completely silent. Then you hear their footsteps.

    Great observation :)

  • YAY progress we like progress. fail= :( progress=:)

  • Haunting Ground IS better than Clock Tower 3 your right better storyline, game play and I think the more real the game looks the more scarier the game is that's what makes haunting ground scary is the graphics and the music.

  • I rather liked Clock tower 3, but this game is better. Yet I liked how the enemies were and whatnot. The bosses were fun, yet it felt strange to have a drastic change in gameplay like that.

The thing that was the worst in the game wasn't really even anything. It was just that tittle and whatever you get at the end of the game, afetr the credits. I checked online for what it meant, but it meant nothing aparently. For some reason that pointless...whatever, it's been a while so I forgot, annoyed.

  • if i had tha game and i dident no the name i would call it clock tower 4 because its like it but looks better

  • this is clock tower 4 they just had to change the name because of the drastic change in gameplay

  • I just beat Clock Tower 3 in like two days, it wasn't that good. Really, Haunting Ground is much, much better. Clock Tower 3, it's just...annoying. Plus, it's too short after you beat Hauntnig Ground a dozen times...

i just got Resident Evil 4 with Leon, and that game is irrating yet interesting. :D

    Leon + Fiona 4ever ^^

  • @punkangel60 Clock Tower 3 definietly didn't have an amazing or original story, and the villians were just irritating. But it definitely was a fun game and a great source of an adrenaline rush.

  • @punkangel60 leon and fiona!?!? more like leon and Ada forever

  • Where is Sedatio for?

  • sedatio clears your panic completely. ^^

  • xD Is it bad to say I'm not bored at all? I find this game to be very fascinating, to say the least; and even if it wasn't, your commentary definitely makes it worth watching. (In a good way. D: I feel for you when you start getting frustrated.)

Sorry, just leaving random two-cents here and there. >.>

  • i tried playing clock tower 3 compared to haunting this it's not as good or scary and fun as this game. i couldn'nt figure out clock tower 3 period so i got rid of it sincerly priestessgirl88 ps is eternal darkness a good game?

  • I like it well enough I wouldn't say the replay value isn't quite as high as Haunting Ground

  • it is. it's very creative and intresting, and the characters and voice acting is as good, if not better, than this game. the graphics aren't top notch, but are still very good. it's fun and the storyline leaves you sastisfied.

  • I think the voice acting in this game is much better than in CT3. Sometimes it was just kinda weird. Not to mention the motion of the characters is way more improved in HG. Everyone just seemed to be flailing around a whole lot in CT3 and they looked ridiculous. It was also just weird. This game is weird as well, but it started out that way. CT3 was kind of a "OMG this could really happen" thing at first, and then got progressively stranger and less believable.

  • is riccardo the last stalker? is this lp almost over? noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No, there's one or two more, I don't remember.

  • lol the clock was by the big door but too late now lol. Man Riccardo finds me every now and then

  • thanks for the info and yeah the subordinates or stalkers have really bad ai you can hide in the same room as the stalker and he will not even notice

  • Never have played Clock Tower 3 but if I can find the means to get it I'll do an LP of it.

Is the game really bad? *Doesn't know*

  • It's not bad. It's just not as good as this game.

  • Ah...I wonder then if it would be worth my time...*ponders* ^.^

  • its a good game not as good as this from what i've seen but its still fun and its like 5 bucks be warned if you do get it its really short i would say...4-6 hours depending on if you get stuck

  • @SashaSilverMoon The good thing about it is that it's a short game. So its not like a long game, where its just going to drag on and on, when its over, your ready for it to be over.

It's basically exactly like haunting ground (hg was orriginally meant to be clocktower 4) but it def seems that HG improved/corrected many of the mistakes that clocktower 3 had.

  • Katrinonis commands the beasts of the earth!

Anyways, what's the deal with those mumbling, twitching guys? Are they like, the 'dry method' folks or something?

  • LOLZ!

They're called failures, I believe. It makes sense.

  • So they're the failures of these weird hermetic order's attempt at immortality? Am I understanding things correctly?

  • No. I think they are the attempt at creating humans.

  • @katrinonus From what I understand, it's failed attempts at creating humans like Daniella. But I guess Daniella was a good attempt?

  • Hurray for progress! I have not played this game nor Clock Tower 3 but from videos I've seen that this game is much more intense and has a better atmosphere. One thing that adds on to the atmosphere is no HUD or real attacks. Getting closer to the ending yay! I mean nooooo!!!!

  • Afraid that I don't think so. I thought the enemies were better in this game. I'll do a playthrough of it sometime soon.
