People do say this game is too linear, and the combat system is really bad (compared to the older turn-based styles up through 10). At least that is the impression I get...I haven't played enough of 13 yet, even though I imported it from Japan when it was released. ANYHOO, what i'm trying to say is, despite what a lot of people say negatively about this game, it seems interesting to me, and I refuse to be a hater. I don't mind if the game "plays itself" or what not. I have time to use up. :D

You're not the only one. It happens to me after I finish watching an anime series, too. They're like pockets of time that have passed, and you can't relive the experience; the surprise, a second time. Especially if a character dies. Even if you start the game up again, and they reappear, it's not the same. They've already been torn and grieved for, and it makes me shed a tear (depending on which character of what series) every time.
