We understand the freedom of a religious belief is important, but any demonstration of it through violence is not acceptable and advisable cause it can only make people doubt the core of that religion. To be frank, I know little about Lamaism in Tibet. However, if the riot was supported by most lamas and monks in Tibet, it can mean anything but Lamaism is good for the region.
