Totodile is not really strong now, have you see the Johto Journey, the Only attacks Totodile learns: Bite,Water Gun and Scary Face, You have to learn more attacks to be a strong pokemon.;)

@BlueDiamond93 But Zatch is a Mamodo and the dudes from DBZ are Saiyans. I get the fact that Pokemon are special creatures, but aren't Jessie and James human? They've had falls that would pretty much turn a human body into um, well, you should get the picture (and I'm apologizing for the mental image) As for Naruto, well, he has a demon in him. And he's nearly died several times. It's a children's anime, I get that, but it's best not to argue with the laws of physics.
Um yes dude, its called power and combination. If a move is used in a certain way it can have a secondary or different effect..also what happens when fire and oil combine, or water and fire- steam.

And Ash is still supposedly ten, after 5 regions, not including Isshu (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Kanto again, and Sinnoh) despite the fact he got Pikachu on his tenth birthday and he said in 3rd Movie, it's been a year since they met. So shouldn't he be at least 11?

Yes he does, and most likely will, they always try to balance ash team out right, so looking at sceptile and toterra, he already has charizard, which means typhosion should be next then water they focus on, so the next gen may also be focused on the water type..
@BlueDiamond93 .Quilava may not even evolve into Typhlosion since he is not needed at all,Quilava is cool the way he is. Sceptile and Torterra are grass type pokemon not fire types so they don't really matter in this case. Charizard is somewere else training and Ash does not have him anymore.Ash team is balance enough as is and they are your opinions not facts.
@eman5454 Probably either Squirtle, Corphish, Totodile, Buizel or Mijumaru (Oshawott, sorry. Still using Japanese names.) Ash hasn't evolved any of his Water Pokemon yet. That's probably what Blue-san's talking about. =)
Oo I forgot all about infernape, but if he didnt have an infernape then typhion will be needed..Wait actually if we dont see charizard anymore one of his fire types starters is evolving, its ether tepig or quliava. They have to balance out his starter parties.. And ashs team is not that balance for real, his hard working gliscor is now like charizard also squirtle, his awesome turtwig went downfall when it evolved. There using best wishes water pkmn to replace evolving his older pkmn.

Quliava still isnt that strong though, im pretty sure monferno and charmeleon were stronger and even bayleef.. They didnt even show da full fight for quliava's battle.. And that battle ended in a tie..

Quliava skill level as shown in that episode shows it doesn't have as much exp as his other fires starters did.. Yes it learned eruption, but that doesn't make it strong.. I can tell its not as strong.. You can see it if you pay attention enough..

Quilava shoud be more powerful than torkoal because he survived multiple tough battles as a cyndaquil and was evened with an Armaldo when he evolved. Even if torkoal was as strong as quilava, quilava would still be a lot stronger if he used blaze. Calling each other names wont do anything other than start another comment war. 1/3 of the total comments is related to the past ones.
kk um im pretty sure torkoal could have beaten or tied up with armaldo to... Torkoal has had tough battles to like with registeel and others... So there about equally strong eruption = heat wave.. And you cant use blaze in this situation cause thats it ability, were talking about there regular base power.. I don't think we'll see blaze from any other of ash's fire pokemon...

And I have the DVD to that old Larvitar episode and I've always wondered how Ash wasn't dead due to carrying Larvitar on his head. Like, its little, but REALLY heavy and the weight could easily snap his neck.

@Byakuga100 And let's not forget Ash still didn't know Team Rocket in disguise was actually Team Rocket for until the start of this new season. Even though the ploys and their disguises were pretty f***ing obvious. The games/manga lacks that stupity/repetitiveness that the anime possesses.

@Byakuga100 That's why I prefer the manga. The villians actually try killing the heroes. The anime is much less violent. And, you're right about the physic thing too, like the exploding Bite attack and some others. And Ash is still supposedly ten, after 5 regions, not including Isshu (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Kanto again, and Sinnoh) despite the fact he got Pikachu on his tenth birthday and he said in 3rd Movie, it's been a year since they met. So shouldn't he be at least 11?

Yes he does, and most likely will, they always try to balance ash team out right, so looking at sceptile and toterra, he already has charizard, which means typhosion should be next then water they focus on, so the next gen may also be focused on the water type..

Sceptile and Torterra are grass type pokemon not fire types so they don't really matter in this case. Charizard is somewere else training and Ash does not have him anymore.Ash team is balance enough as is and they are your opinions not facts.

Oo I forgot all about infernape, but if he didnt have an infernape then typhion will be needed..Wait actually if we dont see charizard anymore one of his fire types starters is evolving, its ether tepig or quliava. They have to balance out his starter parties.. And ashs team is not that balance for real, his hard working gliscor is now like charizard also squirtle, his awesome turtwig went downfall when it evolved. There using best wishes water pkmn to replace evolving his older pkmn.

Quliava skill level as shown in that episode shows it doesn't have as much exp as his other fires starters did.. Yes it learned eruption, but that doesn't make it strong.. I can tell its not as strong.. You can see it if you pay attention enough..

You don't have ay proof that Quilava isn't on the same level as the other fire types, Quilava is on the same level as the other fire types and he always been powerful even as a Cyndaquil.
Torkoal is the only firetype that isn't on the same level as the rest of Ash's other fire type pokemon.

Quilava shoud be more powerful than torkoal because he survived multiple tough battles as a cyndaquil and was evened with an Armaldo when he evolved. Even if torkoal was as strong as quilava, quilava would still be a lot stronger if he used blaze. Calling each other names wont do anything other than start another comment war. 1/3 of the total comments is related to the past ones.

kk um im pretty sure torkoal could have beaten or tied up with armaldo to... Torkoal has had tough battles to like with registeel and others... So there about equally strong eruption = heat wave.. And you cant use blaze in this situation cause thats it ability, were talking about there regular base power.. I don't think we'll see blaze from any other of ash's fire pokemon...
