If enough people had jobs that paid a living wage then the same people could also afford to buy the goods and services that people sell at a higher price. Hence Capitilism works in this case, but now it is the other way around and Capitilism does not work anymore. No one has the money now to buy the goods and services that people are trying to sell at a high price because they don't make enough to cover unnecessary shopping. Pay people a living wage then more Jobs will be created thru spending.

Hannity has a beef with anything left of the extreme right wing...whereas Michael Moore takes issue with injustice, corruption, and greed perpetrated upon humanity as a whole.

@tehatemachine It's not the system it's the people who are in charge who make capitalism shitty. Capitalism can be a good thing. It's just that when the rich and the corporations just use paper to make more paper and try to make more paper off that paper and don't do shit. Then they wanna take the working man's tax dollar and bail themselves out. But, yeah there are also lazy ppl as well. If capitalism was just like it used to be back then there wouldn't be any problems.

@Gasparro18 The federal reserve is responsible for issues with currency. But the federal reserve within it's self is unconstitutional. The founding fathers stated that currency must be backed by either gold or silver.

Capitalism must always be based upon voluntary will which contributes towards competition which outputs products with lower price and higher quality than a state controlled or promoted monopoly.

I believe that people should be able to pursue whatever they wish so long as it does not interfere with others freedom. if a person in a company made a decisions that violated someones freedom. Then they rightfully will be punished. To me that's what the courts are for. But the courts sometimes do a lousy job so a little regulation would be ok. The problem right now is that we have TO much regulation that did more harm than good

I enjoy Moore's films, but I have to say I'm disappointed with him here. Of course, he's a millionaire. Why is he afraid to say it? Of course, it is thanks to Capitalism. Why is he afraid to say it? I support his work, but he seems completely lost in this interview.

Oh good grief people stop trying to grasp for straws nobody's buying it. Moore made his millions by creating a good or service (in this case a documentary film) and selling it to the people via ticket sales. He didn't trade stocks. He didn' take someone else's mortage and divy it up 9 times to be sold to the highest bidder. He didn't have fine print at the bottom of his movie tickets that read at any time he wanted he could rape you with fees. He MADE something with his own talent and sold it.

Capitalism is a business model in which a private owner holds a monopoly over the work place, owning the workplace and the means of production. In other words capitalism means going to work for someone else instead of going to work for yourself, based off the idea of volunteerism in which you are a commodity.
Capitalism is NOT the free market, nor does capitalism in any way guarantee a free market, capitalists often just do business in free market systems.
