I could have used this type of advice in my final year of high school, I was rejected by a Korean girl, and it seemed as though my last year only went downhill from there, and my last year ended up being a trainwreck, though I still graduated. It's been about 5 years now...I've already moved on, but went I think back on it, I believe I was only rejected because I was too shy and didn't do enough to get her interested in me in the first place.
