Really good! I have found that the best tip to make a good drawing is to not put it down before you are finished. I have experienced it several times myself. It may not look all that good in the beginning but if you stick with it you will get a good result in the end. And if you don't, you start again. That's drawing!

Is a common pencil, usually B or HB - sometimes bad quality ones, I'm used to grasp ANY pencil I find around when I need one :P
