pretty incredible how many explosions actually went off before the building even started to fall. I know demolitions are carefully planned but that's fairly reassuring. i love engineering.

not a cowboys fan, but i lived there from 91-97 and saw many a game there during the 2nd dynasty. saw metallica/GnR concert there as well as Pink Floyd. some great memories

Great shot, thats a pretty impressive view. I was standing at Highway 183 & Loop 12/Walton Walker. Even though I was roughly 925 feet upwind from the south endzone, the concussion from the blasts were immensely strong.

Okay, so this is a little picky (well it's a lot picky) but this is NOT an implosion.

This is a sequence of explosions, causing the building to fall inwardly.

And implosion occurs when the pressure on the outside of an object causes it to be crushed, inwardly, like a submarine being crushed at extreme depth, would be an implosion. Yes, some dictionaries have started listing "implosion" as controlled demolition of a building, but it's still wrong...
