The first MCR song I heard was Welcome to the Black Parade. Back then it was the only song of theirs that was played on the radio and I didn't know what band played it because I'd never heard of them. I looked it up, and I was immediately hooked. Long live MCR!

TBP is my personal favorite. 3 Cheerz and Bullets were just so epic, though. The one thing I hated about TBP was that the genre itself changed. But the change in rock music was fun. Like, when I first heard "Dead!" and "Welcome to the Black Parade", I wanted to jump around the house. Well, that was in 2006 lol. Anyway, but in 2002-2004 I never heard of MCR. I heard Helena and Ghost of You, and Im Not OK was on MTV. I luv MCR all the same, and I look forward to the new album.

Okay, listen to the first album. It has a punkish sort of feel. You listen to the second, same thing. You listen to the third, and it become just straight rock. Thats now the MCR we've all come to love you know? A little change in a band is good, but completely changing Genres is always a bad idea. You lose most your fanbase and then you have to try and earn a new fanbase that is into that particular genere. The band has changed...but not for the better IMO.
