  • If anyone has the ENTIRE ragamuffin site rip, i know a LOT of people will pay for it. help us out!

  • if they giggle and laugh to themselves one more time while shane b is playing ridiculously hard chords im gonna scream lol..

  • he closes his eyes a lot

  • Lord, my serving you replaced me knowing you ......

Any worship leaders out there hear that?

  • yesss

  • I like about 20% of christian music

and they're good. and awesome skills too.

  • i wonder if King David played the harp this good. don't you think this pleases God, them using their talent to praise Him? He's probably a pretty proud Father. it makes me smile and i don't have anything to do with it

  • I LOOOOVE THIS! it really sooths the soul! amazing guys.. can't wait untill yous start selling albums. I'll be the first to buy it!

  • they actually already have albums out. this song is on the Rocks Wont Cry album you can find it on itunes. But yeah, the have great music!

  • This is good stuff!

  • beautiful. Who cares how you label them, whether or not they are as "musicians"

They are singing to the Lord, and through this are bringing people closer. Brings such joy to my face!!!! If I could dance, I would dance to this song!!

    "pretty melody, dedicated to God."

  • he's talking to everett while double strumming like it's nothing.

    I love these guys =].

  • Hey...great..good job!!

  • for all u who think they are not good musicians then letts see you write a song play the music and for kickers, just try the triple strum in the song. Post a video of it and then we will compare."Do you have to know how a toilet operates to be a ****er.

  • Anybody who plays music so that it is utterly captivating is a great musician. I don't give a rip what they know or don't know. I'm sick of avante garde types who produce art that nobody likes but is still considered "great" by some ill-defined elite. These guys are great musicians. Nobody better dare disagree, ere I become agitated!

  • my mistake

  • These guys are incredible musicians! They have incredibly good ears. I mean I know vocal majors in college that dont understand how they do the harmonys they do. I think that traning dose help and builds your skills considerably because I have done alot of theroy, but before that I played and sang by ear for nearly 4 years and got along quite well. So natural talent can go a long way, and these guys use that to the fullest.

  • "...good musician means you know musical theory"? I'm sorry but you're wrong.

Musician = "One who composes, conducts, or performs music, especially instrumental music.".

As you can see, the definition of a musician is not someone who has to know Music Theory. What about people in countries that don't have access to the same kind of education? Are you saying they can only at best be regarded as good players of musical instruments?

  • What you talking about? Did you actually see what I was replying to?

"no life"? Writing a reply to a discussion that ended 3 months, of which the person who made the original comment admitted his mistake?! (No life?)

Just enjoy the video (or not), and move on, my friend!

  • well I'm sure these guys know what they're doing. shane plays a lot of variations of different chords, i'm sure he knows what those original chords, he only just chooses to play the chords he does because that's what musicians do.

  • These guys are amazing musicians. I love how they harmonize.

  • lol not to insult them or anything, but they're not really great musicians. they just happen to play very well. other people can agree with me.

  • You contradict yourself. "They're not really great musicians"..."they just happen to play very well"

What you say doesn't make any sense. ??????????

  • webster's defines musician as:

someone who plays a musical instrument (as a profession)

artist who composes or conducts music as a profession

these guys are truly great musicians.

  • Just because he's not playing an F# doesn't mean he doesn't know it. There's these things called chord variations that you learn after you get past basic music theory. That's the stuff that you learn once you get past the basic major chords you learn from the chart that comes with your beginner guitar. Also very few people play an F# on acoustic. Not because they don't know it but because it doesn't ring out like other chords. He has some sick timing way beyond basic music theory also.

  • Apparently he is a former drummer. I am a guitarist and now I wish I was a former drummer.

  • Yeah I'm a drummer. Not drum kit more rudimental stuff. That's why I really like his style.

  • i love chord variations.

in my guitar lessons, i swear by teaching variations and capo usage. i even go far as to recommend a capo as standard class supply.

  • Sometimes you have to let the open strings ring. I like playing bar chords, but they dont ring as well.

  • i don't care much for bar chords. i don't have the finger strength to make them ring the way they need to.

  • i love watchin him strum that guitar!

  • thank u for posting that...shane barnard is an incredible singer and musician!

  • just amazing he is able to keep such a consistent rythm but he did start off as a drummer..
