@Georgel19841 not sure I have an answer to that, but I believe he lived beyond his prime because he knew we loved him. we shared lots of quality TV time (and nap time) where he always sat next to me. My wife said he would run to the door & wait as soon as me and the kids would come home. We're pretty inseparable every where I go, he goes. I'm sure if you make your cat happy he (she) will have a long life. Sometimes words convey just as well how we feel as much as video.

My cat died this afternoon - had her almost fifteen years. Its going to be strange not hearing her crying for something out of the refrigerator. She will be buried in the mountain park, near another cat that passed on years earlier. Whether somebody looses a cat after just three years, or fifteen, the time spent with them still seems way too short.
I'm sorry about the loss of your cat. My cat passed away this morning. He went to teh vet for a yearly exam, shots and shaving, and he went into cardiac arrest and died despite every effort to revive him. ; _; He was only 11 years old. I miss him so much.
After I saw this video I immediately went and hugged my cat for a long long time. He's 13 now and also getting old. I can't imagine him not being around. So sad :(

Great video. We had to put our orange / white cat "Max" to sleep yesterday afternoon (1/22/09). In two short months, he had dropped from 18 pounds to under 10. It is especially hard on my wife. He was HER cat. He would follow her around everywhere. Pray for us during these next days without him.

Kiki knew how to relax heh... I just had to put my kitty of about the same age (one month shy of 18) to sleep 7 hours ago. She's been with me the vast majority of my life. Yes, we tried different food brand as well. He's eating but don't seem to gain any weight, the vet said it's ok because he's getting older and too much weight is not good for him.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my cat back in Jan 2007 and it was wicked hard for me to let him go. He had kidney failure. We have since then gotten another cat but I will always hold our old cat in my heart and never forget him.
We actually have 3 other cats. When Kiki died they all hang around where Kiki last lay. One of the cat name Babee is very close to Kiki. Since Kiki died he is always sad a moping around always crying and looking for him. He loss lots of weight since... we're hoping he'll be ok.

i lost my cat 4 years ago but it was the best died in my neighbors pool the water wasnt high enough he couldnt get out i was 11 years old i sill miss him he was the bet cat ( for me XD ) =/

My cat died this afternoon - had her almost fifteen years. Its going to be strange not hearing her crying for something out of the refrigerator. She will be buried in the mountain park, near another cat that passed on years earlier. Whether somebody looses a cat after just three years, or fifteen, the time spent with them still seems way too short.

I'm sorry about the loss of your cat. My cat passed away this morning. He went to teh vet for a yearly exam, shots and shaving, and he went into cardiac arrest and died despite every effort to revive him. ; _; He was only 11 years old. I miss him so much.

After I saw this video I immediately went and hugged my cat for a long long time. He's 13 now and also getting old. I can't imagine him not being around. So sad :(

i no how you feel a little ago my cat Brains ran away and a little while later we never found even still today and im pretty sure its dead ive lost many firends pets and i cant take it anymore this one is for u Friends lives dont last forever but your love for them will last forever no matter what even if there not next to you they'll always be there for you and no one can change it R.I.P.

WOW!!! great video in memory of KiKi....I have three cats and I know its hard to say good bye as I have my fourth looking at me every morning in a box. I still love her and feel you're pain as I know I'll have two coming up again very soon for kitty heaven. I always say go with them to "Say Goodbye" if they don't go by themself. The best way to mourn and honor Kiki is to go get another one soon and love him/her more. There are enough animals out there needing a home you should get one immediately.

Great video. We had to put our orange / white cat "Max" to sleep yesterday afternoon (1/22/09). In two short months, he had dropped from 18 pounds to under 10. It is especially hard on my wife. He was HER cat. He would follow her around everywhere. Pray for us during these next days without him.

I am very sorry to hear about your cat. I pray that he may rest in peace in th arms of the angels. Just like my cat who I lost last year. His name was kiki also and he was only 1 year old. He died of kidney failure. So I'm sure they are both up in heaven together. :)

That is such a beautiful cat your Kiki is. My cat Ms.Tibbs died only a month ago..she was only 10 but had a heart problem :[. I hate when people say "well gee..it's ONLY a cat...", but I guess they don't know that cats that you love are valuable members of your family too.

i have had this happen to my cat Guchi. i lost her know her forever my dad was heartbroken about it too. it hurt him more then anyone. i miss her so much it is hard to let go of any pet or person when the die. i miss her so much. i will never let her go. never...guchi may you Rest In Peace forever. Kiki knew how to relax heh... I just had to put my kitty of about the same age (one month shy of 18) to sleep 7 hours ago. She's been with me the vast majority of my life. Old in years as she was, she was still playing like a kitten not one week ago. I just don't understand, and I can't believe she is gone...

my cat looked just like that and her name was kiki 2... she died. she was really sweet... but a killer!!!!!!! i miss her so much! :( sooo sad... well i hope u get through ur loss.. :)

Yes, we tried different food brand as well. He's eating but don't seem to gain any weight, the vet said it's ok because he's getting older and too much weight is not good for him.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my cat back in Jan 2007 and it was wicked hard for me to let him go. He had kidney failure. We have since then gotten another cat but I will always hold our old cat in my heart and never forget him.

We actually have 3 other cats. When Kiki died they all hang around where Kiki last lay. One of the cat name Babee is very close to Kiki. Since Kiki died he is always sad a moping around always crying and looking for him. He loss lots of weight since... we're hoping he'll be ok.

i had a cat...but he got like attacked by my neighbors dogs.....so when i brought him to the vet they said he had a 50'/. chance of living the next day....rip ....
