I think being a fan is a poetic self expression saying "I am better than you" when really no one including myself, knows the shit we think we do. i think jared was possibly wanting to play kurt in a new movie there making about him or trying to make about him. many actors, the good ones anyway throw themselves into a role and become the person there playing. in order to play kurt shouldn't you try to become him? i think if this movie is made i'd like to see someone play him that makes me feel like i'm really watching kurt cobain...

People criticize Justin Bieber fans but they are the same with Kurt Cobain and many other artists. It's kinda ridiculous. Jared Leto never pretended to be Kurt Cobain on stage, and 30STM isn't a new pseudo-Nirvana band, it's completely different, so you can't call Jared Leto a wannabe just because he found this way to be the best tribute. Leto was amazing in requiem for a dream but hes not much of a musician. I dont hate his music, its just too "new rock" for my taste. Kurdt kobain on the other hand is the reason i write and play music. I think music needs to be felt and not just heard. So naturally im into bands like nirvana
