  • dark poetry and philosophy in this song is simply awesome

  • best song in the album

  • @maurelelele so true. one of the all time best

  • awesome ... song

desert plains i am coming back... wind is in my eyes

    hahahaha

  • Aaaaaaah yes !!!!!!!

  • Cool..thanks for posting this song with the original album cover artwork

  • Judas Priest is a strong and a great band.

  • great pot smoking music !

  • good bye brett hagensicker

  • Wild mountain thunder echoes my quest..

  • this song lost me my job...lol...driving to work and maid a couple turns and when to jasper national park....had a blast

    ..1987

  • @ponokareject You are really funny to me because I also lost a job 'because' of Priest. I had an invitation to a PARTY by an obviously crazy little metal bitch. We locked eyes over 'Island of Domination' while I was at my cheesy pizza job and I knew if I went that my job would be over, still I could in no way resist. Jobs come and go, and so did she... no regrets.

  • saw them live in 1986- will never forget!- we sat way up in the back- smoked two joints and had a great time! - they were loud as hell!- the next morning my ears were still ringing!- HAIL JUDAS PRIEST!

  • I come to listen to this song even though i already have the alblum and i get annoyed by a advertisment for Al Gore's stupid bullshit scame global warming.

  • OH MY GOD DUDE, THIS SONG TURBO CARGES MY HEART WITH ANGER TO FIGHT FOR THE VICTORY IN EVERY AREAS OF MY LIFE!!!!! BORN TO BE WILD MOTHERFUCKERS, LONG LIVE TO THE PRIESTS!!!!!!!!

  • bad ass drums and helicoptor chuggin guitar, fkin A

  • This lyrics is a fucking poem man, a fucking poem! Judas Priest is the fucking greatest band of all times!

  • @Mephistto that was really corny

  • @5dollarsbuzz Oh and i care a lot with what you think about.

  • @Mephistto wow your language is really not sophisticated just like an ape.

  • @5dollarsbuzz I know something you will understand: I don't give a shit.

  • @Mephistto Something u will understand:Oh no Haven't shut your fucking mouth fucking already fucking poser?

  • I just started listening Priest last week. I'm going to their last concert here in Costa Rica next september :D

  • Classic Priest. Any way you slice it. Simply the god fathers of my generation. I would listen to British Steel and Screaming F V on my walk-man before kickoff every Friday night to get in the right frame of mind to go out and kick some ass on the field. Still gets me jacked up.Gotta see the epitaph tour!

  • @crusadercoach WOW!! I fought in the golden gloves in the early 80s and would specifically listen to "The Rage" before my fight. I know what you mean about this music getting you "jacked up" to kick ass!

  • I thought all Judas Priest albums were perfect

  • @frankisfunny2007 They are.

  • those were the days not a care in the world and some good judas

  • SOMEBODY POST TROUBLESHOOTER...I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE.

  • I love the double entendre in this song. "The engine roars between my thighs"... are we really supposed to believe that's about riding a motorcycle? Also, when the narrator finally finds his lover, he ends his quest in "burning rubber" xD

  • a majestic masterpiece!

  • blows away Nostraldumass, miss the days of vengeance and defenders era, was the high mark of the creativity and focus methinks.. wonder why KK decided to not tour this one last time, hhmmm?

  • <3 judas priest <3

    ...:))

  • best song he ever wrote

  • i bring you love. metal lovers!

  • Growing up in the desert of the American SW, this became an instant favorite when I heard it.

I saw Priest on their Screaming tour. Awesome.

  • Such a surreal song. Priest is one of those bands where the music reflects the lyrics of the song, both in words and in emotion.

  • After a hard night out partying and need to wake up in the morning and go to work, I put this tune on and by the time I arrive I'm ready to kick the shit out of anyone.....

  • Thank you for make me remember my teen years!!!

  • drowsy, dreamy, melodic, mood evoking + steady driving guitar/rythmn...massiv sound with high level production by tom allom

  • I have to say, the bass makes this song!

  • Listened to this when I was flying to AZ. Fucking fit the mood/scenery so damn well.

  • I now live in the desert from being a swamp rat most of life. This song rocks.

  • This was one of my first faves.

    Good poem, great band.

  • Amazing song for cruising ina muscle car heh heh.

  • @HEAVYMETALMARK1 Right on mate!

  • Nostradamus was beast.

  • Heard this song in my head the whole way from alabama to pennsylvania on my bike, no stops except to fill and purge. No deserts.. but this song really has nothing to do with the desert. Except the immortal one that lives only in the heart.

  • maybe a hayabusha instead :-)

  • man....point of entry is disappointing.....just this song is good and turning circles!!!!

  • @MrMetallicaforlife What about Headin out to the highway?!

  • @LokiLasher haa that too is good...

  • @MrMetallicaforlife or You say yes?!...Or Dont Go?!?!?!

  • ahhh the 80`s ........

  • Tonight I'm going out to face fear and ride my motorcycle faster than I've ever ridden before (170 mph). This song is the perfect prelude. It's eerie and haunting, it goes well with my trepidation.

  • no,, this wasnt the last album ,but this song was the best in my eyes,

  • I'm feeling like i'm on a lone way 'round the mountains, on a Harley Davidson or Honda CB 750 on my way to a bikermeeting.

    HAIL PRIEST

    (:

  • @kaspy90 Ride a Honda to a biker rally and ur askin for it.

  • @fukinblowme

    nah, not true, well, maybe.

depending on what bikermeeting you're talking about..

  • @kaspy90 Has to be a Kawasaki H2 750 ! "The Widowmaker" HaHa ! Pece Ye`all !!

  • thats the perfekt song after a night of rock and roll! ;)#

  • @nujaaa I agree one hundred percent.... great song

  • @nujaaa: It's not bad, but worst Judas album IMO.

  • @nujaaa really ? this was the last album right? i have some songs of it ,but i want to know if its so bad you you say?

  • @nujaaa Nostradamus was a masterpiece... as were all other priest albums.

EXCEPT Jugulator and Demolition.... those sucked terribly, because Halford wasn't the singer. nuff said.

  • @MrPotrykus True, they did not sound like Judas. Well, on Demolition had some good songs but not the same quality as what it is with Halford.

  • @MrPotrykus Jugulator and Demolition didn't suck, but I don't think they should've been classified as Judas Priest

  • @MrPotrykus Jugulator SUCKED??? TERRIBLY? lol

  • @MrPotrykus STFU you wanker. Jugulator was very good and Ripper was awesome. Besides, Halford gave us his best solo material so it was a WIN-WIN situation for everybody.

    Fucking Hell. ;-)

  • @Devoidize

    Totally agree.

Would be nice to see Ripper do a song or two as a duet with Halford on the final Priest tour. I'm not holding my breath, though.

  • @MrPotrykus I would say maybe 2 are masterpieces, MAYBE 3. They are mostly good or satisfactory though, I mean it's just wrong to call Point of Entry or Nostradamus a masterpiece, in my opinion.

  • @Dethtothenations I agree. It seems like Sin After Sin, Screaming For Vengeance and Painkiller have that masterpiece quality about them. The rest are awesome, of course, but don't quite have the same level of power and magic in them.

  • @MrPotrykus Rob isnt the only member of the damn band.

  • @MrPotrykus What a joke.

  • @MrPotrykus Lol you gotta listen really to the Jugulator and Demolition albums, expand your horizons, there are amazing songs there.

  • @MrPotrykus Yeah, no offense to Ripper Owens but Priest was just not the same without Rob. Rob WAS Judas Priest. Hell, without any of them, Priest isn't the same. That's why it really dissapointed me when K.K decided to leave the band just recently. It's just not the same without him.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrPotrykus I like snuff stuff.

  • @MrPotrykus

That's pretty shallow. If you were a true fan you'd appreciate all the Priest catalog. And while I do agree those two were weak, they certainly didn't suck! The better songs were fucking awesome and The Ripper is a hell of a vocalist in his own right.

  • @nujaaa Jugulator sucks too... REALLY SUCKS!!!

  • @nujaaa "ok nostradamus is fuckin bad :D"

    Bad Asssss!!!! =)

  • @nujaaa Nostradamus is definitely better than Point of Entry! Just a bit different :)

  • @Eliskoopa Point of Entry was their masterpiece....nothing touches it, that tour with Iron Maiden was one for the ages. Loud and Clear

  • @nujaaa yeah and I had alot of excitement about the nostradomus CD, I was loving the idea of mixing metal with an orchestra stuff, but honestly except for prophecy which is one of the best new tunes they have done in awhile the nostradamus CD is really bland

  • @nujaaa Are you bloody kidding?! Thats such an epic album deffenatly in my top 3

  • i made love with my girl listing to this

  • @kaiserblade42 The perfect metaphor.

  • @kaiserblade42 it's a pretty fast paced song...I guess you both got a good workout lol.

  • OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAAA........HELLLLLLLLL YEA

Judas fuckin Priest to end the perfect fuckin night.

  • My favorite Priest tune. Awesomeness!!!

  • This song is a masterpiece.

  • my soul song!

  • This is one of my all time favorite JP Song!

  • The most underrated Priest album. Period.

  • RIP -- JIMICAL BEANHEAD!!! -- REEBLE!

  • This song make me feel just like if I were riding my motorcycle through the highway B)

    Hail Judas Priest!

  • My favorite Priest song ever. Saw them in the 80s with Iron Maiden. Best concert on earth!

  • OK Mr Holland WAS convicted of molesting a special needs child,it was no "money grab".He was sentenced to 8 tears in prison.I do think this is one of JPs top 10 tracks however.Iron Maiden blew Priest away in 83 when they were planning to tour together but Priest went out on their own to avoid embarrassment!

  • @synergetic4d he was charged of trying to rape a girl he was giving drum lessons and it happened way after he left judas priest

  • @synergetic4d Hahahahahaha maiden didnt blow shit away priest was way better in those days your talkin after the show in germany in 81, live vengance 82 into 83 than workin on defenders....ha iron maiden aint shit

  • One of the greatest songs i've heard... Just can't get enough of the "old" metal/rock. (Metal and rock get never old.) Soon there will be nobody left to make good music like this I'm afraid...

  • this song goes thru my head when im roaring across the desert on my bad ass harley.

  • KILLER......THIS IS A KILLER SONG. MY FAVORITE BY PRIEST

  • My favorite priest song....nothing else like it.

  • The entire album, start to finish, is unbelieveable.

  • @jtoms3 Yes great album, but remember "You Say Yes" ??? Uggh! Such great tone here, every part is just a recording engineers masterpiece. Special props to nujaaa for posting, the sound quality for Youtube is excellent!

  • amazing melody

  • One of their best- takes me back to my youth! Preist forever!

  • @ericwoge Priest, that is

  • great to hear this again, i need to download this, it`s been almost 30 years....

  • @gouda7003 why not buy it from itunes? at least then your not cheating the band

  • @rickyjshiznit Well, I did pay for this LP and many more......!

  • the basic essentials

  • Holy diarrea, this song is deadly as fuck!!

I love it, in what album is it??

  • @kaspy90 point of entry album

  • @kaspy90 "Point of Entry"

  • Fuck YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

  • In live appearance Rob Halford screams are you hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh????? So people tell me are you high, when listening to the Priest?

  • @leunamme888 high as fuck:-)

  • @tujungite

That is the answer I waited for.

  • @leunamme888

    Live version kicks ass :)

Bit more powerfull then studio :P

The drum solo and Rob screaming his ass off :P

  • this song is amazing <3

  • THAT'S CLASS!!!!!

  • The thing about this song is it's on an album that I HAVE to listen to it's entire thing if I listen at all. lol My band PRIEST HEAVY (trib band) is practicing this song now. Soooo much fun to sing. We may even throw in the extra part at the end....

  • @shonpistoll awesome! It'd be so cool to see a Priest tribute band (or even Priest themselves...) and hear them play a song like this.

A forgotten moment in their back catalogue but a truly great song.

  • I HATE PRIEST!! i hate them because i cant stop listening to them!! therefore i love priest....muahaha

  • Bass, drums and vocals are destroyers. Guitar riffs are great too. WHAT A GREAT SONG! Masterpiece indeed.

  • this song has INSTANT class!

    powerful and exciting!

tipton and downing's dual axe attack

    is still second to none!

  • Classic!

  • Awesome

  • favorite tune. favorite priest album.

  • this has got to be the best song ever

  • these guys are amazing!!

  • JUDAS ROCKS FOREVER

  • Forgive the dumbed down idiot masses for they know not what they do. But we know dont we especially if your here. The mighty flame of metal burns bright while you listen to this gem and remember to carry the flag of Metal into battle everyday of your life. I doubt anyone will remember quick money man Billy Ray and his talentless corporate made spawn; Miley like they will remember the Metal GOD and Company. Only the priviledged few can feel and understand true music like this. Metal 4 Life

  • Wise words my man !! Denim and Leather,Heavy Metal and Motorcycles Peace ye`all !!!

  • Manchild1250, forgive them they know not what they do, stupid masses of ignorant fools. But we do dont we. If you are here or have been here well you know the truth and can see the mighty flame of metal burning especially while you listen to this gem, oh it will never die! I dont think quick money man Billy Ray and his talentless spawn; Miley can leave their mark quite like the Metal GOD and Company have. Long Live The Priest and stand up for it till death.

  • This video got 8,407 hits, while a Miley Cyrus video got 98,000,000 hits. This speaks volumes for America's understanding of art.

  • Yes Manchild it does speak volumes etc ! But the difference is we have shit hot taste in music and the majority just follow the crowds like so many sheep ! Would you really want people like that knowing what we know? If you get me right ! Peace ye`all !

  • Word up to our Mothas! That is correct!

  • This is the sex

  • You are an Idiot!

  • i can't get enough of this

  • seen them open for kiss on kisses solo tour in 78 or 79 was a great show rob road out on his hog

  • such an underrated album. It's a shame.

  • @BlacknWhite232, If you think this doesn't sound like metal, you obviously dont know metal very well. No offense.

  • But I hav to admit I love the song and I am getting to like Judas Priest well much :)

  • Love the "The Engine Roars Between My Thighs" lyric ! Used to listen to this before heading out on my dirt bike as a kid ! One of Priests best albums in my humble opinion ! Peace Ye`all !!

  • @auto4union i always thought that was innuendo lol

  • @auto4union Almost as good as "In burning rubber, I end my quest, you fall into my arms at last."

  • @Sixchomp Not a bad lyric on this song bro` !! Peace Ye`all !! PS. The twin lead guitars are astounding !!

  • @auto4union oh yea i love this when im ridin the trails on the ole irt bike

  • @auto4union Also a good one if your gonna go out motorbiking "Hell Bent For Leather"

  • @andy5421 Hell Yeah Bro` !! Goes without saying !! "How many have tried to prove that they`re faster but they couldn`t last and they died as they tried!" Ye ever heard Montrose "Bad Motor Scooter?" Sammy Hager used to sing for them !!Actually there`s quite a few cool Biking songs that i cant think of just now !!One of the best is actually by Folk/Rock legend Richard Thomson called "55 Vincent Black Lightning" Classic !! Peace Ye`all !!

  • perfect song for the mood I'm in right now

  • The best song from Judas Priest.

  • It's also my favorite Priest track! : D

  • Hey jackass. Point of Entry is a good album. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its filler. And Dave Holland wasn't a child molester. He was ACCUSED of it. Celebrities get accused of shit all the time. Even if it is horrible, it doesn't make it true. Stop believing everything you hear the media say. And If you hate the album so much, keep it to your self. We don't need to hear you bitch. If you need to let out your problems, get a fuckin' counselor.

  • There was overwhelming evidence that he did so, and even so, where is the proof that he wasn't either? Where you there for the trial?

  • No Reaper, Splinter wasn't there, he was home rubbing one out wishing it had been him molested by Dave Holland. Don't waste your time on this fairy with the gayest YouTube name I've ever seen. You and I know that just because somebody is accused of something doesn't mean they're guilty. Hence my comment: "IF YOU THINK I'M TAKING THE PISS LOOK IT UP." Obviously this moron didn't or else he would know that the guy's guilty as sin and is blackballed in the music business. Hey 917-learn to read,ok?

  • Accused and CONVICTED of it.
