  • @J27Delight Because bastards always get the girls?

  • OMG!! lol i want one!! :D

  • This is a South African advert

  • ayyeee.. that was a good laugh ! :p

  • 9 million views! not funny in the slightest!

  • @toThe9thPower arranged marriages are not longer like that except in remote villages. most

"arranged" marriages mean that the parents introduce you to as many men as you would like and you get to choose. think of it as a blind date set up by your parents instead of your friends yes. not as cool - but im awkward and cant go to bars to meet guys. hahaa

  • @paperhearts01 A bar is the worse place to find a husband, assurdely if the are drunk in bar they will be at home too.

  • @paperhearts01 actually theyre not. theyre still in use today and are very popular. im indian i know

  • I wish I had a remote so I could change my bf whenever I could.

  • wow she has beautiful hair..

  • hahaha love her choose! :P <3!

  • Raj? Is that you buddy?

  • She has a weird taste in men.

  • lol i love it when the mom Pickwick up the remote and looks at her husband :p

  • her moms a milf

  • funy vidio thanks mahesh patidar bawdiya 9425937587

  • The Mother with the remote control at the end is funny, the sort of thing my mum would do...lol

  • The girl's tastes :P :P She was better off with her folks choosing for her,

  • I live in the UK. But I see the value in some types of arranged marriage. There's a difference between arranged marriage and forced marriage. A lot of the time the potential husband/wife interview each other alone too before making their decision.

To me a consented arranged marriage is about practicalities. In the end, when you're not excited about them as much as when you met that that's what matters anyway, hence the massive divorce rate here.

  • @SaffronCicely hmm that makes sense

  • It's spelled as 'spelled' and not 'spelt'.

  • @civstu Actually, both spelled and spelt are correct and either can be used in the past tense or as a past participle (and as @Dilvil has used it in the passive voice).

I like the somewhat (British preference?) spelt as it sounds crisp.

  • @reva12 Huh... that must be a throwback to the germanic origins of English since the simple past tense in German is usually marked with a "te".

  • It's spelt as percentage and not persentage.

  • Will that work on ugly fat chicks

  • pooja shah u like which is out of credit sorry

  • search bolder gazet van antwerpen

  • and they say marriages are made in heaven... more like made by parents

    Thanks in advance.

  • @pianoplayeruk

  • @playerofdangers08

    Thank you very much!

  • EPIC

  • That Indian girl is GORGEOUS! if they make her take care of herself then the guy she is going to marry should do likewise.

  • @crazymusicgrl yeah but just because someone is beautiful doesn't mean they take care of themselves. someone can be very thin and still be unhealthy. And others are just naturally blessed with pretty faces.

  • I want one of those! Where do I sign up?

  • oh yeah guys with no muscles but mesh shirts are always a sure Win in my book .......

  • @PanderflyLUV...I am from Buffalo, New York- A dying upstate NY, former heavy industrial/manufacturing, "Rust Belt" city. "Progressed" into a failing economy. Sure there are some lingering industry...However, the "trades" are gone. I remember well, those days of my youth when this city was productive and the neighborhoods were alive w/sundry activity. Now, the houses are old- and showing their age. And as with my own bones- They cannot keep up with what they once did- When they were young...

  • how is the last person he matets is it Salman Khan?

  • It's the veils. Veils should come with a remote.

I live in the Western US. My parents would have chosen a MUCH better man to be my husband. For my older sister as well. What is the persentage of people that would agree with me..? Divorce is very high here anyway. The kids lose out.

  • @imagineers0 God bless you.... But problem are there in all type of Marriages.... no matter u r selection or parents....

    Amen

  • @imagineers0 It seems to me, You married to breed kids and not to the Love of a Man.

  • @imagineers0 Well i live in a non-western culture and i think that both parents' and offspring's wishes should matter because while parents have experience it is you who are stuck with the other person for good. And btw i am quite cynical of the notion that many people can live together happily ever after so the reason why divorce rate is so low here is because divorce carries a huge social stigma especially for women.

  • @imagineers0 are you high? you should choose your partner, not your parents. Do you know how many times a man is chosen for political or financial gain? Your parents would not necessarily have your best interests at heart, Or even know what type of guy you would be best suited with. Divorce is high because people constantly change, Humans are not even remotely close to be designed for a lifelong partner, and there is nothing wrong with that. If you are not happy, find someone else

  • @toThe9thPower well if your parents dont have your best interest in their heart, you would be the first person to know about, you which case you may chose not to go along with your parent's wishes - simple:)

  • @akram4179 Wow you fail because in most situations, the person could not say no. The parents could cut them off financially or disown them publicly. This stops many people from standing up for themselves and they end up in a loveless marriage they never should of had. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DECIDE WHO YOU MARRY, it is insane to even suggest someone else would be able to pick YOUR spouse better then you can. You cannot win this argument, so please do not even try

  • @akram4179 It's not that simple. Even people who have the freedom to choose whomever they want along their life's have a hard time when the best interest of your parents vary deeply from yours. Their still one's parents.

  • @imagineers0 Arranged marriages work i guess. A third party that's not emotionally attached usually makes the better choice for the individual. Never regret the past. Always look ahead :)

  • @imagineers0 Are you saying having our parents choose our husband or bride is the better way to go? Are you insane... Yes mom and dad know best, but doesn't mean you'll be happy. I come from a hispanic culture where if mom doesn't approve of the woman, then no way is it gonna work out. But for her to forcefully choose for me... Even for her that would be odd.

  • @Peruvian007 It's usually not by force.. well never, but it sucks that there is a marriage with no passion or love. everything else is there.. it's very stable, but not really affectionate and loving

  • @imagineers0 Poor you.

  • @imagineers0 i disagree with you , maybe parent can see the good or the bad man and give you advices but choosing your husband that is wrong

  • fuQing Retards

  • She picked up gay... her mariage is condemned to fail :D

  • hes fat no matter what >_>

  • Did she just greet them with the Tamil 'Vanakkam'? Woow thats random

  • hahahahha...

    MOthers picking up is funniest

  • ew

  • what the heck did indian james bond apear dam right copyers

  • i'll choose my own fucking husband thankyou

  • 8 sumting million wat?

  • @thegreeneyes01 yehahah that's surprising that this video got 8 million views, so it shows that people all over the world are very curious about the Indian Arranged Marriage tradition

  • @automatikred yh but what's there 2 b curious about? lol ..the meaning of arranged marriage is simply when your parents/guardians find someone that they think is suitable for you and will love you forever (hopefully any way because it doesn't always work out)..however people twist it and turn it and play Chinese whispers with it and it ends up looking like and sounding lyk shit..(hint-force marriage)..anyway i think Arrange marriages r very romantic n beautiful 90% of the time.. (Vivah movie <3)

  • What a fantastic advertisement. So funny

  • jesus... i swear indians have the worst taste in everything. At least they're smart.

  • what was the last song in this commercial? is it a folk song ?

  • lol! then the mother picks it up!!!

  • tamil terrorist commercials

  • crap

  • how about if the men could have a remote and change their wife? hmmmmm...... learn to settle for what you have people! would you rather be nearly 30 like me and living alone the rest of your life?

  • I love that song at 0.55

  • whats the song at 0:44

  • LOL her mom wanted to change too XD

  • Does anybody know that song at the end?

  • @Bigfoot10203 it is "baba ve kala maror" by jagmohan kaur

  • @wetlandcroc Thank you man

  • dstv?i think its a african TV cable online service.dere are indians in africa too.

  • @lacelailaful yeah i think it's only the Indians in those african countries who have any money to spend on products. Quite sad, why do they need to go live in africa. Less competition there i guess

  • since many generations indians have migrated all over da world for work and business, they have mixed in with da local population, and trived, many african dictators tried to destroy indians, very much like da jews in europe, dint happen, dats a one good hell of a reason to celebrate.i enjoy da difference,i am an south indian, reserved and well mannered in functions but da african indians are loud brash and colourful.

  • These are arranged marriages so they can keep the race pure. Sounds racist to me! Whatever, right!

  • @1coffeecup Nah, it's just so they can pick someone with "good" qualities. A famous/grand family, money, a good education, a successful career, politeness, and many other things. Basically, whatever ideal qualities parents want for a perfect son/daughter in law.

  • @1coffeecup Nothing wrong with keeping the races pure.

  • @Spagnotic it is baba ve kala maror search on you tube you will find it

  • @wetlandcroc It is a music video with people dancing to a language i do not understand

  • @Spagnotic what did u expect?i thought u asked for song,i told u wat was the song

  • @Spagnotic of course wat were u expecting,i thought you asked for song which plays in background i told u the same

  • @wetlandcroc no i said this wasn't racist. you said it was

  • @Spagnotic it was not me it was @1coffeecup

  • @Spagnotic it was not me it was 1coffeecup,i find it funny and entertaining

  • @wetlandcroc oh my bad

  • @Spagnotic huh, i suppose this is another one of those things where if any other race does it that is not white it's OK kinda deal. That must be the trend of the century!

  • @1coffeecup I never said anything about the white race.

  • @Spagnotic I know you didn't and I am not accusing you of that. It's just the social trend that I have seen. Its really is great that the Indian people take so much interest in who will be joining thier family. Alot of parents could use a few parenting lessons from the Indian people.

  • @1coffeecup What is good about their parenting?

  • @Spagnotic It at least shows that they care about their cildrens' lives. More family involvement is something lacking in America. Mostly due to single parent families and not enough quality time spent with their kids.

  • @1coffeecup

I can safely say either 1) you have never been to america 2) you dont have any american friends. 3) You are typical indian feel superior to others by thinking you have more moral/ethics. 4) a typical indian who JUDGES others.

I was born in the indian culture and it's fuked just as much as any other... and sometimes worse. The only difference is indians keep shit to themselves so the IMPRESSION is that all is dandy.

One BIG fam. under one roof ≠ a happy family, my friend.

  • @1coffeecup Of course there are benefits to an arranged marriage, parents can use there greater life experience to pick a partner for their child that is more likely to provide and care for them. However, they are robbed of important life experiences in the process. Also, the parents don't always have their child's best interests at heart, especially when dowries are involved.

  • The irony here is she chose the musclebound bad boy.

Of course later when she gets tired of his bad behavior she's going to portray herself as a victim and demand to be released from her choice.

  • 1. Indian Elvis (Y)

    2. She settled for a gay instead? o.o

  • FROM INDIAAAAAAAAAAA.

  • ...keep your traditions or you'll end up like the USA where the little brats shoot-off their big mouths at their fearful elders as though they are equally experienced with age. Where brats actually sue parents for toys! And 'judges' allow these things in courts of law!! The list of indignities goes on and on in the name of some political wickedness named, "liberal"- an undisciplined nation!!

  • @SittingMooseShaman I'm not American, but I'm going to tell you that it is all culturally relative. Who are you to say they are wrong and you are right? You are not the center of the earth, and that is where the problem begins. Ethnocentric fool.

  • @ImpulsePB ...be wary to call this Shaman a "fool"! The fruits you bear: Shall be your own judge within the eyes & minds of those who know you. All I've done was merely state my observations as opposed to common sense borne through the ages of mankind. Basic familial/societal structures are common amongst all humans: These are 'hard-wired' in the human brain. The 7 Liberal Arts in the U.S. have been bastardized by so-called 'law' professors & turned into a propaganda-machine in public education

  • @SittingMooseShaman "Traditions" and "culture" are just fancy terms for old peoples' baggage. And the reason that kids might act unruly and rude is because the parents don't do their jobs.

  • @pratikh So children are entirely blameless in all situations? there's no such thing as a bad kid, or a kid who doesn't know how to behave?

  • @TQOMify The parent has to punish the kid for misbehaving, which doesn't happen.

  • @pratikh yeah, but hitting your kids (even if it's for discipline) can land a parent in jail. the kid'll phone child services and get his parents locked up, because the laws are complete bullshit. grounding a kid has no effect whatsoever.

  • @TQOMify That's why the best discipline is to embarrass the kid in front of his friends.

  • @pratikh ouch. that causes epic resentment and shows no link to the kid's "crime" in the first place.

  • @TQOMify But will they ever do it again? Nope.

  • @SittingMooseShaman I wish what you are saying wasn't true. the US has so many faults, like the ones you've mentioned among many others. Little children shoot off their mouths and swear like it's a nursery rhyme, the streets are no longer safe to go alone in some places (I was upset and needed a walk, but my grandmother stopped me and said if I did I would get raped (extremely unlikely, but yeah..)) But not everything about it here is bad. Where are you from?

  • @SittingMooseShaman Are you saying all American children are like this or just the ones who make headlines?

  • @SittingMooseShaman Haha, yeah, but we also kind of need to strike a balance between parents controlling their kids and kids controlling their parents. Cuz sometimes these traditions can make kids go completely crazy.

  • @TQOMify ...they could stand a little, 'craziness'... However, balance is, after all, ...the natural order of things...

  • ok video. sucks for arranged marriages. unless its me and carmen electra rrrRRRrrrR lol

  • @crrazyy Then that would suck for her.

  • WHY would ANYONE skip BRUCE LEE! D: D: D:

  • @HolandaChiquita me too me too :)

  • lolzzzzzz......

  • awww...i remember this ad....DSTV rules!!!

  • wtz funny in this clip?

  • every guy in this video looks the same

  • Awesome comercial, AWESOME!

  • Indians have a weird culture arranging someone for a marriage ..to me that's sign of insecurity because we as human should be given the chance to choose whoever we want to marry

  • @pipelujan83 at least we don't divorce like americans do....it is like a national pastime for you guys. besides, how many indians do u think actually follow this anymore. Sure the village people but not in the city

  • @2fast4uspartan , only because they'll be exiled with shame, with no pita.

  • @pipelujan83 yet arranged marriages are usually more successful than love marriages.

  • @dragonbane44 Nothing to do with women being scared to end them, I'm sure.

  • @MegaWinnieGirl Many thing to do with both sides striving to make it work instead of taking the easiest way out.

  • @dragonbane44 Haha, good joke. Every country that has arranged marriages has a severe lack of women's rights.

  • @MegaWinnieGirl That's your ignorance speaking. The parents who arrange marriage consists of both father and mother. And its generally the mother who takes major decisions. And at first, its not any easier for the guy as well.

  • @dragonbane44 But the girl should be able to decide for herself.

  • @MegaWinnieGirl Yeah, I support that. The girl does take the final decision from among a horde of suitors. Of course, that girl's not going to marry some douchebag nor is her parents some irresponsible "nod-heads". That's how it is done in my country. But irresponsible parents do exist in very poor community who only care about giving away their daughter's hand as soon as possible. Those are bad cases.

  • @dragonbane44 There shouldn't be arranged marriage at all. A girl should be able to meet someone she likes and go from there.

  • @MegaWinnieGirl the guy didnt exactly have a say too... why do people always focus on the girl and they claim equality. Their parents arrange the marriage...

  • @munguntulga Because we know in the places that these kind of arrangements take place there's usually a severe lack of equality between the sexes.

  • of course, an indian commercial has to have dancing in it! what was i thinking?
