got a 3 in custom single outlet and it sounded really nice. j's racing is a true sport/racing pipe and is really loud like the invidia you will get sick of it soon especially when you get pulled over constantly but to each thier own its sounds great but you will get sick of the noise trust me everyone I know went to single custom as soon as they heard mine some had the j's but most had the invidia which was a junk setup to begin with.

Thats why you check the specs and compare them to what's legal in that state or region. If you like J's Racing but think this is too loud try the 60RS exhaust which isn't as loud. On another note these exhausts are made of titanium and will run you about $1500 bucks while other companies like HKS or DC use steel and cost about $500.

no vroom vroom? mine was dynoed at 197 kw all n/a power barely anything at all done to my engine. So lets see, 1000kg car + 197 kw = quick, launch at 5.5k, engage at vtec you'll have yourself 0-100 in just over 5 seconds maybe even 5 flat. i dont know how that is not quick for a car with no forced induction. You idiots who think v8's are the greatest need to appriciate 4 cylinder power. its not rare finding 8 second s2ks or any 4 cylinder so respect it while its around.

the leaner tune is what is producing the power, not the catback exhaust itself. most exhausts for the s2000 gain a little hp but lose torque.

Any one can drive straight turning breaking throttle and clutch and brake control all at the same time is driver mod.

Iv had my S2000 3 years its a 03' iv had the stock drive train full ap2 drivtrain and engine few diff variations of parts

seems too loud for daily driving. i wonder if the car was turbo if the exhaust would be a tolerable loudness since a turbo tends to muffle an exhuast. i dont even think this exhaust would be aplicable to a turbo set up though. if anybody has any suggestion on a good sounding exhaust for a turbo s2k that isn't quite this loud that would be great. looking to run between 10-14psi

my dyno with invidia, aem v2, and test pipe only netted me 210whp/144tq which i have the vid of that online. switched to a buddy club spec 3 single and got the same results. tune should give 220, maybe 230 on a strong motor i would guess. sounds good and looks great bro with the white emotions!

The J's 70Tis (70RR) gives an aproximate 20whp gain. And the J's Racing headers gain 5-7whp. If you have the ap1 s2000 your pushing out 272-274whp, more if you have J's cold air intake.

@poisonspider with an s2k and bolt on mods it all comes to preference. all intakes, exhausts and headers will give roughly the same gains and in some cases loss in power. The path of the piping is all the same on both single and dual exhausts with the exception of the different diameters. I have a megan header, invidia 70mm test pipe and dual exhaust with an AEM V2 CAI. had it dyno'd and gained 19whp. My buddy with your setup gained 15whp. With such minimal gains it's all comes to preferance.

@DetroitDoc Just an FYI, the j's is TUNED to provide a better POWERBAND, not just kill your down low end and slap a bit on the top like invidia... i could put a 3 inch pipe and get tons more power, but my lower end would suffer greatly. J's FTW.
