  • how unfortunate that it was gaffed in the belly. what a ruin of a perfect fillet.

  • @moldyoreo This might sound silly but we don’t really eat the belly part, I know it’s delicious

I felt like I was doing it myself!!

  • If this fish's 160 pound I'm Captain America

also you should have a belt hardness it works better and you wont have a back ache. but great catche good job gentz.

  • dude a kilogram weighs more than a pound. nice fish anyways. looks tasty.

  • 160 kg would be a little over 350 lbs.

  • that is not a 160lb YFT im 100000% sure i agree with crod around 75-80 lbs... if that was 160lbs that man wouldve been outta breath

  • 75 pounds...

    not more!!.

    but still a nice fish!

    well done!

  • 160? more like 85. No Sickle Fins on a YFT is dead giveaway that the fish is under 100.

  • would hav been good 2 see them pull it on board

    thanx,

  • it´s a back harness to hold the reel

    to rest your arms

    very effective

  • good video we do this all the time for sail fish down in south florida

  • good for you try also mix that with some chuming and ballon fishing at time and it works verry good too

  • very true

  • Yes it is. I can tell you that your odds increase like 3 times on strikes and hook ups. And if you wonder what we do when no wind over 6 knots we attach a giant helium filled ballon on top of the kite.

  • kite fishing looks like its really effective
