Very sweet version and a great pleasure to both eyes and ears! :) The acoustics are of the stairwell are great along with small quirky moments throughout the video. You can hear a door open at the start and it must have been a shock to the person walking in on you seeing the two people sat on infront of a camera. You can see you are both trying to stay composed and well done for continuing. Enjoyed it over and over again.
Great vocal by Joanna Lennon but she needs Pauline McCartney to join in for the harmony line, and the lead guitarist needs to learn the chords of the bridge.
St Joseph`s High - a staircase for every student...This video is a glimpse of a moment in the past when Phil met Sarah..Their rendition of a Beatles song had a lovely ethereal quality to it and acquired a cult following.
@deal1006 This was recorded in spring of 2008, when we were both in Gr.12 at high school. Neither of us has class 2nd period, so we got together to play stuff like this! It definitely beat studying.
what is this world coming to when we can only give awesome videos like this one thumb up? it's an outrage!!!!!!!!!!!! an outrage, i tell you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to post two comments back-to-back, but I have an observation...Take a look at Mary Travers in old Peter, Paul, and Mary videos - Sarah has similar head movements which serve to animate her performances. I believe it's one reason her singing is as "watchable' as it is "listenable."
The Across The Universe version is an interesting, almost jazzy, way to cover what was an attempt by Lennon McCartney to get a Bluesy-Gospel sound. It's coffee and cigarettes and dark booths. Yours is a sweeter, kinder, gentler, Folksy rendition. It's sunshine and youth and new found feelings. Nice guitar playing; just the right volume. Sarah is as expressive as ever. Very Fine. Five Stars!
She would look so cute with elf ears.

I love it, but I'd change the venue next time. I'm sure when recorded it'd be amazing but the stairwell acoustics really aren't the best
