By the way, you better bust out the seat belt, the solar cycle is getting ready to start peaking here soon and the skip is gonna be nuts, you'll be talking to all sorts of places, just like skip used to be 15 years ago.

i told some guy in the US i had a 1kw amp, he laughed and said he uses that much to drive his amp..

the UK is well behind with power compared to the US....but then again CB is all but dead in the UK now anyway..

Sweet lookin rig with them blue lights. You got that dude all peaked and tweaked? I sure miss the cb radio days, everyone up here where im at in ohio quit talking on the radio about 10 years ago. Now all we got is truckers to talk to. I t ried ham radio for a while, but it was boring as shit. Ha!

@beast6228 Here in NJ we have a lot of people on the radio, and over the border in PA. We get together on Tuesdays usually to have what we call our "Coffee Breaker" Either at the local diner cuz its all you can eat pasta night, or outside the quick check and get our selves an antenna farm going.
