@Tiggermiao Some can. Some are picky and will only feed on live. Every snake that feeds on P/K will hold on to the prey for a little bit. It's just what they do, she holds on to the prey for about a minute or so.

K the 1st vid of the one with the white rabbit, at that time it was not my snake and my buddy said she would not take anything but live. Then about 6 months later I got her and actually confirmed that she would not take P/K. I would not feed her live so I starved her for 2.5 months then she took the P/K one no problem. Then I got a bunch of hate mail about the white rabbit live vid, so I fed her once more live just in spite of pissing all the assholes off that wished bad things on me.

So nobody gets confused, P/K means prekilled which means that it was alive but he killed it because most snakes like prekilled because its still warm and it was alive a few minutes.

F/T means Frozen Thawed which means that it was a frozen mouse or rat and it got thawed out. Then you have live which is the worst way to go, feeding live can be bad for a few reasons, it can hurt the snake, and it can have parasites.

I feed my snakes prekilled, at least i try to. Most snakes always take live.

Take it by the hind legs, put the front legs on the ground infront of him, take a broom stick (any wooden or metal pole) behing the neck, step on both sides of the pole, the pull up really hard from the hind legs.

It snaps the spine and is a quicker, more humane death for the prey....

Yeah she's about 2 feet longer, the gurth is a little bigger as well. She's been on P/K for about 3 months now. I don't think that other rabbit was 8 lbs. That's just what my buddy told me b/c it was his snake at the time. So that's what I put in the description. This one here is def. 4lbs. I weighed it at the pet store. This one looks about the same size as the live on though I think.
