They can really die. And if you got a hearing loss you cant repair this hair cells and you cant hear quiet noises any more. A Hearing Aid amplifies those noises and make them louder.

It is true that loud sounds can cause temporary damage to ears, but the damage is only temporary. I would be more worried about getting false info from youtube than hearing loss.

I have hearing lost. Not from loud noises but by birth. I have a perforated eardrum in my right ear and might get it fixed.

I tell those that are hearing, that I wish I could be fully hearing but I'm not.

If you can hear, please take care of your ears because once its gone, its gone and for the poster who says he doesn't care, start learning some sign language because your hearing can be gone... fast.
