I prefer the movie ending, due to the fact that Nite Owl actually cares about Rorschach and is prepared to kick Ozy's ass. Due to this scene, my respect for Nite Owl is back.

Dr. Manhattan, Silk Spectre, and Ozy, on the other hand, I would like their heads on silver platters.

I think this music suits the scene very well. The added music toward and after Rorschach dies makes more of an impact on me than the original did - Wish they did something like this in the movie.

Or well, maybe not, because people were gob-struck when Rorschach died. Imagine what would happen if you added this music? Pre-emptive suicide!

gothpunk... he had to die bcuz he wouldnt lie about dr. manhattan not blowing up the world. The world needed to hate dr. manhattan or else they would hate other humans,making war. Rorschach refused to keep his mouth shut and decided it would be better to die instead of tell everyone

No. Rorschach believed that equal and fair justice should be served to the people. He believed they deserved the truth, and knew Manhattan wouldn't let him go ahead and tell the world. Rorschach had a big deathwish, he was suicidal for a long time, and he knew he would be killed if he tried anyway.

Rorschach had to die because he refused to keep it quiet over what was really happening (Ozymandias's plan). Rorschach had already sent his journal to uncover the truth to the press, and ontop of that, Rorschach had a serious death wish (He was extremely suicidal, but never really shows that until his death). Dr Manhattan didn't want to kill him.

look at the comic book. he worked in a clothing factory that made a dress to a woman with a fabric that changed color with presure and heat, but the lady didn't liked it. it was invented by Dr. Manhattan. it's not shown in the movie but Dr. Manhattan invented lot's of things used everyday in the graphic novel

I love the way all the music was laid throughout. It really pushed the emotional power of the scene. But just to reiterate, that was all from 'the autumn effect' (the long version). The reason I ask is that the end sounds like 10 years, but the part that plays up until 2:15 sounds different.

There is no "plot" to the movie, They tried to have a multidimensional storyline, which failed horribly and ended up being a bunch of distant side stories having too little in common. Of Course if you know what you are about to see it makes sense, but first time viewer can't make shit out.
