Shes also a zombie in Undead Nightmare when she said that, "This was meant to be my perfect day." She is supposivly a ghost I guess but when I first heard that on RDR I was like umm ok? But in Undead Nightmare she said that and I said THATS THE LADY!!! so. weird.

no because UN takes place right after the main campaign in RDR but alma is different because her grave can be found in RDR after completing her side mission so regardless of UN she is still dead during the regular campaign.

she is a ghost because according to the red dead wiki, her grave indicates her death in 1911, at age 65, which is when the main campaign takes place so evidently her fiancee was killed in 1894, and she remained delirious for 16 years until she commit suicide.

Her grave in Undead Nightmare doesn't indicate anything, because according to Rockstar, UN is NOT canon.

A lot of characters you meet in the main game are dead and buried in UN (such as Jimmy Saint and Vincente de Santa, but that doesn't mean they're ghosts in RDR. It's an alternate reality, man.

@pLaYsTaTiiOnCoD Well basically, you complete the game when you are John Marston. And when you beat the last level of the game and move onto newer levels, you don't play as John Marston anymore. You play as Jack Marston his son, and you get to free roam just like you did with John. You can go on a killing spree, catch horses, hunt, do bounties, remaining stranger missions and alot of other stuff. You can do whatever you want after the game is beat.

@drifter941 all the side missions can be done before or after the mission "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed", so each one can be done by either John or Jack (except one John-exclusive). I actually started a muti-level mission as John and finished as Jack, which actually turned out to work pretty well (the California one)
