The huge difference between Lord Chaitanya's nonviolent civil disobedience movement and Gandhi's one is that Lord Chaitanya did it for spiritual reasons to deliver the souls and Gandhi had selfish political motives behind that so actually Gandhi did so much more harm than good.He contributed very much to the violence during partition,etc.
