yes of course, ds is region free, but getting ur hands on this game in us without importing is pretty hard to find, recommend you get the rom veriosn for this.

Hard to say. See the Japanese DS is markedly different than the American DS. Kind of like how a Japanese game will not play on an american PS (Take a pick. I still use PS2 and a psp over DS any day of the week)
