Plus, isn't it interesting how, each time they made a new generation and new pokemon, more powerful legendaries were revealed? Like, they started with just embodying the simple elements, (the three birds) then moving up to forces of nature, (the three beasts) then, the creators of the land, sea, and sky. (Hoenn ancients.) Then they went up to the creators of space and time themselves. Howevere... I think this trend has ended. Since they're not going to make a pokemon more powerful than Arceus.

Zekrom is electric which can summon storm. (You can see in Pokemon Black and white (Not games but anime) or Best wishes. And Reshiram is fire which summon sun i think. And Kyurem is ice, which can summon snow none of weather trio got no snow of them =.= So you fail your own.

Now this is what a true Pokemon legendary should be. I always feel like the other legendary was just strong and blah blah blah. But in Hoenn, my favorite region, got legendary that made the region and are god of weathers. I feel like that is a true legendary pokemon.

@SolidEternalAbyss I think every legendary is the God/Goddess of SOMETHING. They all are like creation dieties that made some part their world. It's just finding WHAT that can be the challenge. Example: Suicune is supposedly the creator of the Auroras, and as she runs, she causes the winds. (makes the air move, therefore creating "wind.") Interestingly, even though a water type, she doesn't seem to be the CREATOR of anything that is made of water.... that was Kyogre. And Groudon made the land.

@suicunesrider And here's a few more just for fun: Zapdos is the embodiment of lightning itself, while Raikou is the one who created Thunder-- the sound lightning makes. (It's supposedly "modelled after" his roar, see,) And Zekrom and Reshiram-- I THINK-- are the ones who created forms of "energy", Zekrom being "light" and Reshiram being "heat." Meanwhile others are obvious, like Palkia creating space, and Dialga time. And of coarse, Arceus being like the almighty God that started it all....

You must not know much about the history of all the regions' legendary pokemon. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, could disturb weather patterns wherever they went just with their presence. Celebi is the manipulator of time; it can travel to the past or future. Lugia, while not as noteworthy in this area as Kyogre, could still control the waves in the immediate area, and the legendary beasts, while running across the land, were able to produce fire, lightning, or ice with every stride.

@itsalife77 I know about Celebi but outside of traveling through time it doesn't really do much. I'm also aware of Suicunes ability to cleanse water. the the fire, ice and lighting with every stride isn't really much, since it's weak anyway. The legendary birds only did that when they battled each other. Lugia couldn't control waves, its wings were so powerful it caused tidal waves and mass destruction when above sea.

@itsalife77 Actually, Lugia's ability is the God of Storms of Johto. Celebi isn't a manipulator of time; its a patron saint of the Forest, able to revive plants from the dead with a touch. Any plant. Regardless of how long its been dead. It can travel through time to make sure the forests of time remain in tact, as well. And, Ho-oh's powers are obvious. It can revive anything with the Ash of its flames.

@1234PIE43215 Minor nitpick, but Giratina is the legendary of Matter and Antimatter, not opposites. Hence his two forms; Altered being Matter, Origin Antimatter. The Distorted World is an Antimatter world, a world required for the world of Matter to exist. It's a distinction, but it makes more sense to put him up against Space and Time like that.

Opposites might have worked alongside the Yin and Yang/Truth and Ideals pokemon of Unova, but not with the Time and Space pokemon of Sinnoh. Antimatter(and thus Matter) makes more sense. (Plus, Junichi Masuda and Takeshi Kawachimaru outright said he was the personification of Antimatter, and Cynthia says the same in HG and SS.)
