We're all forgetting that faith was the first person to put FX after his name. After that nearly every beatboxer has named themselves .......FX. Its not original anymore and its not good for our scene.

I understand that Reeps is a big inspiration and he's one of mine as well but there are sooo many other beatboxers also killing it ie Petebox, Faith, Eklips, Alem, Beardy. It would be cool to see the Reeps sound intertwined with these styles! Apart from that the beats are really sick!!! Tx

Okay guys seeing all these comments makes me want to response. Of course I will sound like Reeps because we both have similar styles and sounds, also he was one of my biggest inspirations. My name ARTFX is something I've been using for more then 6 years now as my name as an electronic music producer. There is a real meaning behind this name and it has nothing to do with KRNFX. The name was found way before I ever heard of Terry either. Last but not least, check the description for my music!

@4beatbox20 I'm producing electronic music under the name of ARTFX since December 1999, no way I ever heard of KRNFX at that time. I started beatboxing through producing music and yes, Reeps was an influence, so was KRNFX, and so where all the others out there. People tend to forget that in the end we are all speaking the same "language" called beatboxing, of course there will be similarities between different beatboxers.

Pretty sure this is the exact same thing with dubstep. People are like "Oh my god you stole all the noises from Skrillex!!" When pretty sure he's not a god. Just because you haven't dug deeper to realize that just because Reeps One is the most admired from what he does, that doesn't mean he made it.

Stop comparing other people to the people you only know. How about be constructive and give some advice rather then comparing and saying that he's not up to your standards.

This guy has a completely different flow and style then reeps one. Some noises are the same, but what a beatboxer does with the same noises makes him of what he is. It is insulting to hear someone say that his style is someone elses.

One of the best compliments a beat boxer can receive is "I like your style" or "You're so original." Strive to get a compliment like that and it will make you a better beat boxer. The only comment I can make about ARTFX's style is, "I like Reeps One's style." If I wasn't watching it come out of ARTFX's mouth, the only name I would have thought of was Reeps. It was entertaining though, and at least the beat was somewhat original--all the sounds were Reeps' though. Make it yours.

dharni, reeps, skiller, babeli alem, lytos, krnfx, slizzer  --- these guys have evolved beatboxing into what it is today. and because we see everything they do because of youtube, every newcommer we see is of course going to have a touch of another beatboxer mixed into their style. you dont think everyone sounded like kenny m, or rhazell a few years back? in 5 years people will be saying "oh titsfx jacked artfx's style"
