  • wow it must be hard being a drummer, if u think about it they have to keep the beat with every thing, just look at the bass drum in the whole video to SEE what i mean

  • It's hypnotic.

  • hey i own a roland myself and i was wondering what you did to go about getting your drum kit onto your computer. i dabbled in recording software but wondered if there was an easier route or program you might use. good drumming too by the way. keep it up.

  • @odielicious24 Via MIDI? You tried plugging it into a sound card etc connected to the computer then re-wire it to a programme? this is how i connect key boards to computer, may work the same with this, perhaps.

  • @odielicious24 I have the same problem lol. The on board recording is just soooooo bad.

  • @Rueyi- your a total mong! :)

  • @ecupk yea totally dude...love the shorts too!!!

  • @rueyi by wat I saw there electric

  • missing toms on the intro, listen closer!

also missing bd on the verses, you practicaly stop when trying to do the tom fills.....

  • @MajesticArrow001 who cares?

  • what kind of cymbals are these?

  • Really nice and cool ;)

  • I want my drums and my cymbals to be that color except that I don't want electric drums or cymbals

  • Really nice job.......awesome.

  • Wow...

  • nice one kidda!!!!

  • its deff better than original record, with hearing drums more its waayyy more better i love it

  • OMG :O freezings over my body! LOVE THIS

  • If muse is god, ur adam.

  • I envy your skills :')

  • Please... MOAR COVERS

  • Dude, you should totally have more views for this.

  • Wooohooo! Well done! Weird kind of playing: right-handed kit but playing open handed like a native left-handed - unique!

  • Are you left handed?

    Congratulations. Nice drumming, Nice kit.

  • your using nylon tips on mesh heads? did you experience any problems?

  • @MrDudedrummer it's an electric kit ;) so for sure, no problems :P

  • i had an orgasm at 2:30

  • This guy is a Robot... Super

  • ok i do normally like tha acoustic drum more but ur set is awesum

  • That drumkit is so smexy :D

I myself is stuck with a Medeli drumkit... It has major hotspot issues and easily slides across my carpet...

But soon ill buy a better one! I have currently placed 2000$ in a new drumkit. You think that's enough? :O

  • Do you have any hotspot prblems with those pads?

  • Brilliant :-) I hope one day I will be good enough to play that (only been playing 2 months so got a long way to go). Do you know if the music is available anywhere?

  • 5 people forgot to turn on speakers

  • AWSOME

  • at the beginning, you hit a couple of pads which iv never seen anyone do before

  • i always thought about this...what happen if theres a blackout?

  • i always thought about this..how about if theres a electrical problem?

  • sick :o

  • Awesome cover, man. Can I ask....see at the start, are you alternating between the base and the high hat continuinly, or are you playing them both at the same time? Just asking because I have conflicting sheet music, and it's hard to tell what you're doing from the vid!

  • @heathclifffe where did you get the sheet music from...I'm new to drumming but would love to spend the next year trying to learn it...

  • @homequestliberation im a drummer and ive bin playing since before i could walk and i find that drumming should come naturally and that you should feel what you play:) however it would be easy to google " Muse Map of the problematique:)

  • DUDE I LOVE UR DRUMS!!!

  • @FunkiiPunkGiirlx3 and ur shorts!!! haha

  • cool!

  • wow that's a so awesome cover ! Perfect sound, perfect playing !

  • So.. If the ride cymbal is on the left - what's the cymbal on the right? :)

  • your drumkit is dancing man!

  • Great Cover, Great MUSE!

  • its not like the original drumming but i like the creativity :)

  • Dude, what v-drum series are you using?

  • @DeathSharingan Oh God, I didn't see the title...

    Thanks anyways...

  • Awesome vid! Only problem was the bits after 4:22

  • I'm sorry, it just looks insane when people play left and right handed:p

Inspirational!!!! How long have you been playing?

  • lol 0:50 sounds like awesome :)

  • just bought a td12 too - well, it'll take some time to get me to where you are, but one needs goals, eh... :) very good drumming!

  • I'm sorry, it just looks awkward when people can't decide whether they're left or right handed.

  • Dude, that's pretty legit. Honestly, not digging the shorts though...

  • love the little double bass patterns in the 2nd half of the song! :D

  • man sweet cover im tryin it out and seems to be working for me i vary it a little too

  • left handed?

  • Great playing man! 100%

I have a question, i just bought a Td-12 and this is totally new for me so i would like to know how did you do this, i mean, did you import the song in your brain? how does it works? I would like to know how can i play with a song playing in my headphone + earring the drums in the same time. Thanks!!

  • Nice!! I love Muse too!! かっこいいいいい!(笑)

  • very sweet sounding set up there, where did you get the master of this? i want it!! :0

  • Well done!

  • What program do you use to record the drums ? and do you you record dierctly on to the song or do you mix them together after ?

  • Ur good man

  • Good.

  • hi mate, what kit on the td12v are you using, or is it a custom build

  • thats one nice camera angle !

  • awesome! thats all that i can say.

  • awsome!

  • You're left handed aren't you? I ask because you seem to prefer your left hand with the snare. Just wondering.

  • Can I buy this thing and buy tom to get like 6 toms and 8 cymbals?

  • left handed playing on right handed set up!! nice change!

  • I think you just single handedly sold me on the Roland TD-12. I can't play at your level yet, but you sound great. good inspiration.

  • awesome cover! the only thing i thought was that you could have used the side snare as a gong drum like dom uses for this song

  • that was a nasty drum cover man, hope i can play like you some day

  • awesome cover!

  • You need to stabalize your kit badly :L

    LOVE THE COVER :d

  • Pretty well sound dude!. absolute the best cover for this song on youtube.

  • I want the VH-11 so bad..

  • i understand u hit the bass drum on every beat except for the part around the 3:00 min were every second time u do something really fast with ur bass drum! It sounds like u have a double bass petal but i dont see one! can u explain somehow what u do there?

  • @schitt123

He uses heel-toe technique, search it on youtube or google ;)

  • Awesome cover man!

  • Hey dude, I've been trying to get the toms on my TD 12 to sound like yours ... how have you set yours?

  • epic to fuck.

  • you are so VERGA!

  • How much would you say this kit cost you? (Original one)

  • @BanditNoBody $3999 on musiciansfriend website

  • watch that left hand

  • Geebus Christ! Your ridiculous!

  • I luv the way the kit randomly wobbles occasionally

  • 2:16 blew my mind.

  • sounds good man.

  • dubbelm bass at 3:01 ?

  • @Kimezroh nope. those heads he has on those are pretty bouncy, and you can sort of bounce the pedal.

  • Hey dude I got a question, I got a Roland TD4K myself but I wanna buy an amp for it. Any advice?

  • I'm sorry but I can't agree with the ones who say this looks like the real version...it is a great cover indeed but not like the real one...

    I'll tell you why...

the beggining isn't right, the bass drum kicks and the hi-hat's aren't right on the verses either, ...

    and now the good part..

loved the way you play as a left-handed person in a right-handed person kit, you play very well indeed, ....

I just didn't like those "make ups"...

  • Brilliant

  • Nice playing were can i get the music for this song??

  • Great cover, but how do you record your drums? Exellent sound:)

  • I wonder if this is fake or not, becaus if it isnt it is veeery good

  • that was awesome... i think i'm gonna get the td12 after watching this (guitar player for 10 years)

  • Nice one mate!

Question: What advantage is there to a Td12kx over a Td 9kx?, limited budget you see!

Muse seems to be good to copy to.

    Keep it up old boy.

  • you sir, are just.. WOW :)

  • what drum setting are you using I meen like : TAMA, LUDWIG, or .... can you please tell me

Thanks. And can no idiot mistake me and say its roland you pr**k I know but some electronic drums have differant kit settings. :)

  • dude ur amazing:)

  • the set is dancing XD

  • r u rich??

  • i love how the whole thing shakes at the last part (3:40), so good :)

  • What a hell of a set! Great play, great kit!

  • awesome cover!!! really!!! but are you actually lefty or righty? :)

nice drum set by the way, I have the td9 with the same hi-hat, but mine doesn't sound so well, I guess you have more and better samples on the td12 as I do.

  • That was sweet

  • this is awesome

Is there a way I can have the mp3 ?

  • leftie...

  • open handed?

  • not sure what you mean...

  • his drum are set up like a rightie. (hi hat on left and his fills are from left to right and he is using his right foot on bass) But i could be wrong, but open handed as in when using hi hat and snare, instead of crossing your hands like normal, he keeps his arms open using his left for the hi hat and right on snare. if that makes sense.

  • oh got it. that makes sense.

  • AWESOME COVER! hows the hihat on the td12? whats the drum on the left of the hihat? also, HOW did you get that camera angle? is the td12 worth my hard earned money?

  • 3:25 - 4:11 u are holding the stick a very ocward way which i like dont get me wrong. but u are combining that drum on the left of u under the control key and doing some really cool with the high hat and that drum at the same time please let me know itssss realllyy cool

  • it isnt easy for a left handed drummer using a right hand drumset

  • i dont think the whole flam thing works out very well

  • Sounds great. Which kit did you set?

  • Comment removed

  • the hi hats supposed to be going at 8th notes, but other than that good

  • Just picked up a td12 - fun... question: what kind of mat/carpet are you usisng... everything I use "slides"

  • Hi there, I built a platform (search tennis ball impact platform on google) to reduce the vibrations under the floor, I put rug grip then carpet on top of it, and stapled it all down. If you don't build a platform maybe just try rug grip and some carpet/a drum mat..?

  • Great!!! Thanks to you I'm getting there! Where did you get the drum tabs from? I would love to have them!

The ones I found on the internet don't seem right!

Thanks and keep druming this good!!!

  • Hey there, I didn't use tabs or anything, just listened to the track a few times and played along to it...! So i'm afraid I can't send you any, sorry :(

  • @movisman U should remove the flams that u are doing if you're planning on sticking with the original, also after every fill u do ur going to the I think Crash? don't do that ;)

  • @Cessnaonfloats try finding it in ttabs or 911tabs

  • @Cessnaonfloats hey man if your looking for tabs just type it in on google your bound to get them that how i got the hang of the song finding tabs on google is really easy man check it out .....

  • Dude, great cover. But the intro is different, its played on floor tom with accents and the fills alternate, only every second fill is like you play it.

  • you can see it on the live vid "Map Of The Problematique - Muse in Live"

  • care its awesome

  • Brilliant! I love your drum covers!

And i like the fact you're wearing shorts. .. ..No sarcasm. Does that sound weird..?

    Good day! =)

  • well played cover mate!

never seen anyone have their ride cymbal where you have it but fair enough! lol

  • Ha, cheers! Yeah ride has to be on the left for me, makes it much easier as i'm open-handed..

  • O_O

    respect from Florence, Italy.

  • Dude, do you have map of drumless version ? I want playback to play on my roland! Thank!

  • Hey there, unfortunately not. I'm playing over the master version on this clip..?

  • W.O.W

    Amazing.

  • Wicked cover man and awesome hand speed. Respect from the Lon in London...

  • Only audacity woow TD12 modul sound great

  • sick. Love the set and the skills. 10/10

  • Great cover, man!

  • You messed up the beginning drums a bit, but thats why its called a cover, huh? :). Great Cover man, other than that, sounded superb. 5/5 ;D.

P.S. Love the electric drum set :).

  • Well done, very well done.

  • woooooooooooooww awsom

huh u added some great details

    good cover dude

  • Awesome cover. Quick question, what program do you use to record and mix your e-drums? I have an alesis electronic kit and would like to do some cover videos myself but I'm completely new to the amateur recording scene.

  • Hi there,

No worries. I simply used Audacity (free) to record the e-drums, I literally took the master out from the TD-12 to the line in on my PC to capture the sound.

Then I used some standard Logitech s/w which came bundled with my webcam to capture the video - then sync'ed the two in Windows Movie Maker.

There's probably more advanced ways of doing it, but this works for me! :)

  • really nice and tight.

only thing i would say is that through out the whole song (apart from the snare lick) the kick drum is on 1,2,3 and 4. like i said, apart from that, bang up job

  • Hi, thanks for the comment!

With this one I didn't try to stick to the original totally - I purposely changed the kick pattern at the end of some of the bars, and added extra cymbal hits at various points which aren't on the original record.

Thought i'd give it a slightly different flavour, although it ended up sounding more like the version on Muse's HAARP DVD...!

  • Sweet, well the way you played it still sounded good :]

Question: Why don't you set up your kit in a left-handed way? All credit to you for going round the toms though, i find it hard to do it the wrong way!

  • Hi again - the reason the kit is set up the right handed way is because i'm right footed :O)

If I set up the kit the other way round i'd need to lead the bass drum with my left foot, which is not natural for me. Hence the open-handed technique!

  • ah smart move. i feel dumb now :/ lol.

that muse be a slight bummer for you, although doesn't affect your playing at all. keep up the good work dude

  • great i like the cam angle, i can actually see what u are doing!!

  • Very very good job...congratulations ;o)

  • Fucking incredible cover! Dude I need you to come show me some tricks! Very clean and timely execution

  • great job, keep it up!

  • Wow the kit sounds amazing 5/5

  • beautiful

    good job man

  • cheers this song has bin bugging me for ages neverbin able to work out the roms but this helps alot and well done on camera possisioning first decent one ive seen :P

  • great technique, man

  • I looked some at some of your videos

    I like your style.

I am novice and I hope that I shall manage to play as you.

    You motivate me to progress.

    Bravo and thank you.

  • nice

  • very nice. i like how you added the cymbal hits at the beginning of the tom progressions! five stars

  • wicked, these made me smile at work. MUSE! also i put the headphones on max and rocked out cos i got annoyed at one point. much better! :)

  • good cover

  • Hey, thanks for the comment :)

  • Wicked sounds from your TD12..what settings/kit are you using ...toms sounds great...
