ITS AN ATTACK ON OUR ABILITY TO FEED OURSELVES EVER SEEN BAR CODE ON A FISH, SHRIMP WELL CALL IT AN ECONOMIC ATTACK WE'VE HAD ANOTHER ACT OF TREASON IT GIVES ANOTHER REASON TO SEND IN FEMA ANOTHER TRAITOROUS BRANCH OF WELL YOU KNOW THE SHIT THEY ARE SPRAYING HAS MORE BIRD FLU TYPE MATERIAL MYCOPLASMA MAKE EVERY ONE SICK AND BLAME WHO? QUARANTINE WHO
Did you say that you worked in the oil field and then you said that you currently work in the oil field? Just curious which one is it. Sad thing is ; All the factories went overseas & so many mid eastern & northern people lost their jobs. Nobody bailed them out. The gov is destroying any chance to make a dollar. Gulf Coastals now can't fish or shirimp. Honestly it is disgusting it is all bureaucracy any way you twist it. I was in the coast Guard & my ex worked on the oil rigs. 28yrs ago.
What about all the other oil spills that just randomly happened.... Michigan...China... I heard Alaska had a leak....Oil is squirtin all over the place WTF
BP said they had the cap on but they did not so they thought it was loose but they were finally smart enogh to figure out that they did not put the cap on. sadly i cant go over and help because i am 8
This guy might work in the oil industry but BP should still be held accountable regardless for taking short cuts and not paying for proper routine inspections, bottom line. It sounds like he's trying to defend them simply because he understands some of the difficulty involved in stopping the leak. My whole problem with the government and BP is the fact they're not willing to let the environmentalists and scientists make educated dicisions and won't even let them be involved.
Everytime there is a disaster, the government fucks it up.....Recent past, in the same area, the hurricane disaster.....They had that really fucked up, just like this mess.....
BP has caused possibly the worst national disaster the world has ever seen. The gulf might not recover in life times from now. In a few months from now when shrimp cost go up what than? How about the fact the real money comes from commercial fishing in most gulf states not oil. How about the decades the government gave money to the oil companies? Huge corporations have been controlling government for decades now.. And all this is proof of what happens when we the people allow this!
I have seen 2 vids on here about cleanup products that are truely effective, BY FARMERS, well befor the oil reached land, the priorty should have been keeping the oil from reaching land and then while keeping the land safe then finding a solution to cap the well , why has this not been done, it is plausable that the whold Gulf just may be uninhabital now due to this DISASTER, Fema a JOKE, US Gov a joke, its almost they do not want this cleaned up for some reason.
a little bit? Drug their heels "a little bit"? Is that what you just said? Did you just say that? "A little bit" Let me rewind that, because I CAN'T BELIEVE MY FUCKING EARS! Yep, that's what you said, you said bp drug their heels 'alittle bit" You now have NO credibility. NONE. You are a flack! a SHILL! You are a GO(B)P operative.
If you know so much about the oil and chemical industry, why didn't you mention the dispersant, corexit, being used that's sooo much more toxic than the oil and causes the oil to go to the bottom, to the seafloor. You can't clean up what's sitting on the seabed!
This is as bad as a Nuke hitting , I am a Petroleum Landman , I was totally shocked when I saw the HD pictures , there should have been 3 shut off valves . The deepest well and no shut off valves , People do not understand how bad this is , Houston We Have a Problem~ Oil Patch Democrats demanded ,regulations be put back in place , O did not ,Then Obama gave a $2 billion loan to an oil exploration co that is drilling off the coast of Venezuela , largest owner , Sorros . , Research , I'm Pissed
@sadhouse Your right, many people dont know what scale of disastrous proportions this is yet. I do know, and I hope people of the U.S. do NOT let up on these issues of proper safty measures. At least people see this video guy talking crap and dont accept it as a general mishap or a" OOPS" sorry people, my bad, kind of thing.
They never should be drilling in the ocean if they don't have the technology to stop a disaster like this. NICE GOING BP. THE WHOLE WORLD DESTROYED BY GREED. All the money must go to stop this. Then get rid of BP.
the perversion becomes obvous, when ads about buying oil are flashing up on this video. the marketeer assholes are completely insane. generating money mostly from suffering, destruction and catastrophies.
@MillyVanillification I have no control over what ads are placed on my videos, this one, or any of them. So does that make me an asshole or marketeer just because I had the balls to say that we need to stop pointing fingers of blame until the oil flow is stopped? It is no secret that the US Government is planning on using this oil spill to promote an agenda...they already said this publically.
Beanmeister---I have not heard anything like what you are putting out there. I did not know our govt did not accept offers of help from so many places. Makes me a little sick tho. I do know that boycotting a local BP station is not the right direction.. He is 1 little businessman who probably gets his oil from, one of the refinery's in Lake Charles. They have nothing to do with BP. This is the time to pay attention & support the local individual businesses man. Shop in the local town,
@TheMsbear I agree, hurting the local gas station is not the answer. The answer is to not invest in BP, if people don't like BP, then they need to sell any BP stock they may have.
As for the help being turned down, you can do a few searches and come up with the specifics, but it is true, and not just internet hype. The exact reason why is not so clear; many people believe that it is due to the Jones Act which would make it clearly political.
@TheKellyann1111 Listen you useless little turd, when you grow up you just may realize that real men have real jobs. This is a topic I know something about, if I want to know about working in the fast food industry, then I will ask your opinion.
i work in the patch in alberta, i work for an enviromental company cleaning up after shells damages of the last 50 years and the damages they are doing now. altho i rely on oil to put food on my table, if this spill costs me my job as the green revolution comes into play so be it, ill get anouther job where i dont hang my head in shame for my part in this.
@makadanchez Then Shell should pay for what they did, just like BP needs to pay for what they did. And if you are now hanging your head in shame for what you do, then you should man-up and stop taking money for something you do not agree with.
BP has been demonized because BP IS, this time, the demon. They dumped safe drilling standards, pushed the limits, and punched a hole in Pandora's box. The government failed to step in and take control simply because nobody in government has the slightest clue what to do. There is no precedent. The ONLY technology that MIGHT be able to stop it is in the oil industry. The Navy sure a Hell can't put a cork in it. The Coast Guard can't.
Maybe the fact that I live on the Gulf affects my attitude.
@anmoose I agree that the tech to fix the leak is in the industry, but the Navy should have responded with oil booms and support vessels. The Government should not have turned down help from other countries, and they should have suspended the Jones Act from the start. I recently talked to someone on the ground, and there is a possibility that this runaway well will never be capped.
If it should turn out that this monster can't be stopped, then BP holds the singular honor of having completely destroyed the Gulf of Mexico. And in the long run it will affect the ecology of the entire planet. Nice work, people...
I hear they are already working on some permanent solutions based on the current temporary solution. The relief wells currently being drilled, may not do the trick, so even they are not a solid solution for this mess. The problem here is that deep under the Gulf is a virtually inexhaustible supply of oil. That would not be such a problem, except for we do not have the technology to safely tap it. we are now seeing the proof of this.
I just think everyone was in way over their heads for this. I don't think everyone knows just how complicated getting everyone on the same page is in a situation like this. Pointing fingers isn't going to clean up the mess!
Plus, everyone's out to look after their own butts.
Where I live you can see people not using BP gas stations they are empty. I be they are in maximum damage control right now, too bad they did not put more effort into stopping the spill.
@leokimvideo I have never cared for BP gas anyways, so I guess I could say that I am boycotting BP gas. I will post a video on the topic of capping the well, there is a real possibility that this well will never be capped, but in the end it will be controlled.
Just wanted to add one more thing, From what I am reading on the Oil Drum the blowout is apoclaptic, you know Biblical? If I were a GOM Fisherman, I would get my check, trailer my boats and leave because I think you would agree with me the damage will take 20 years if not forever to be fixed.
As far as BP, my POV is they got laxadasial & took chances. They screwed up big time. It is bad for everybody alive on the planet. I think you know that.
BM22, you keep siding with BP on this so called "Slush Fund" So your leaders, Bachman, Barton, Limbaugh et al tell you this eventhough they have no evidence that the Goverment has "Slushed out" any money yet.
But what is more important to me is that YOU would rather have the victims fight this out with BP in court over 20 years "Exxon/Valdez" fianlly settled after 20 years then the victims be compensated now.
In essance you are for the rights of BP over the Gulf of Mexico victims rights.
@ElanaVital83 I don't see it as nessarcarily bickering. This "Slush Fund" lie has been traveling the Right Wing circuit. The reality is the $20 Billion has been put in Escrow to be adminstered by a third party, the man who did the 911 Trust fund. Now if and when they show that money has been stolen out of the Trust fund I will be on their side but until then they are hurting the victims who probaly do not want to wait 20 years to collect compensation after their lives have been ruined.
@BeanMeister22 Well to address the Feds hindering the locals I might agree with you on that. More & likely because of Burecracy & the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. And just plain incompetance by all involved. Do I think Anybody has done a stellar job with this? Hell no. It is astounding how badly all parties involved blundered.
BTW do you REALLY think the Feds did this on purpose just to make things worse?
And we both know that this will be used to push a new energy policy that might not have made it through prior to this disaster. As Rahm said, "Never let a good crisis good to waste."
@BeanMeister22 Just for me to be clear, I am no fanboy of BO or Rahm. I think both have done piss poor jobs and really are probaly not really up to it.
As for as Cap n Trade & energy policy, if this blowout is not contained then it will be pretty much academic as the Gulf Coast will be destroyed, the US economy was on Life support even before DWH Blowout. So I think I will worry about the extinction of the Human Race a lot more then worrying about Al Gore.
BM22 you also suggest in your video here that "accidents" happen in the Oil industry, that people die. Your words. Your implication here is that this is one of those accidents, so people just get over it. You also suggest there is no reason to transition off Oil. BTW I watched your propagana vid so don't suggest I didn't.
You also suggest that BP should not pay the victims of the Oil spill.
All I can say about you is that you are a cruel and heatless man.
@BeanMeister22 Great, you agree BP screwed the pooch on this one. We agree on that. So what is your beef with the White House getting BP to pay money NOW to the Victims? There is NO proof of any Slush fund. AS of now this is nothing but Right Wing Propagand. You come back to me with Proof that this money has gone to ACORN or anything else then Yeah I will be on your side, but until you have evidence then it is simply Right Wing Reactionary Propagand Distraction and you know it.
@valhala56 You still miss the point on the money. The US government has just forced a publically held company to pay $20 billion into a fund, without the benefit of a trial. The legal system exists for a reason. As for the slush fund, the fears may very well be unfounded, but the fears are real.
@BeanMeister22 Did they literaly put a gun to Tony Haywood's head and tell em pay or die or did they do some arm twisting and guilt trip on behalf of the victims?
It really blows me away that you take the side of BP over the Victims in the Gulf of Mexico. Hopefully people living on the Gulf read this & are cognizant of Barton's Bachman's Limbaugh total insensititvity to the plight of the Gulf of Mexico victims.
BTW do you live on the coast in Lousisana? Have you lost YOUR JOB?
@valhala56 We pay our taxes at the point of a gun. If we do not pay, the Government will eventually send armed men to our house to arrest us, is that not at the point of a gun? The Government had already publically suggested that BP cede control to the Government until this mess was handled. Do you think BP had any choice in this matter? And why only $20 billion? This will probably cost much more than that.
@BeanMeister22 Believe me, I had the IRS pull me into their offices and I was makeing $8 an hour in 1992. So if the IRS can take money from me, why not a Multi Billion dolllar Oil in Company?
Personaly I think there is not enough money in the world to cover the cost of this. The $20 Billion is a start and the victims don't have to wait 20 years to recover & pay 1/2 to a lawyer!
I would be willing to bet if you lost your business in the Oil you would be first in line to collect from the Slush
@valhala56 You have not addressed the federal Government's hindering of states to protect themselves against the oil coming ashore, nor have you addressed the reason why the Government refused help from other countries, and why they did not assign the Navy on this from the beginning. As for the help from foreign countries being denied, that was because of the Jones Act (which was temporarily suspended after Katrina), but why was the US Navy not used?
@BeanMeister22 Well to address the Feds hindering the locals I might agree with you on that. More & likely because of Burecracy & the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. And just plain incompetance by all involved. Do I think Anybody has done a stellar job with this? Hell no. It is astounding how badly all parties involved blundered.
BTW do you REALLY think the Feds did this on purpose just to make things worse?
@valhala56 Do you recall me saying that this is a worst case scenario? Just to be clear here: this is the worst thing that could have happened. People in the oil and chemical industry know that it is a dangerous job, and most of them would willingly give their life to protect the public. Any loss of life is a horrible tragedy, but honestly I am relieved that more people on that platform did not die. Something this bad, could have killed everyone onboard.
@BeanMeister22 Well as a Oil expert you know the 11 horrific deaths on the Deep Water Horizon was just the begining of a National Tragedy that is being played out daily.
President Carter tried to get America to transtion off of Petroleum. As long as it was cheap but dangerous to get the Right Wing ridulculed any type of transition as "Tree Huggers". Well here we are the SHTF & we are up a creek without a paddle, yet you seem to think that the Victims should not be paid by BP now.
@BeanMeister22 Well as a Oil expert you know the 11 horrific deaths on the Deep Water Horizon was just the begining of a National Tragedy that is being played out daily.

@BeanMeister22 Do I find it surprizing that you think Carter was a putz? No not really, people who have a Right Wing worldview pretty much follow what their Conservative Masters tell em.
Carter put solar panels on the White House, Oh what a putz. Put in 55 mph on the roadways to conserve, oh what a putz. Tried to get an alternative energy program going but people of your ilk called him a putz and went on your Merry Way to kill the earth in April 2010. Carter, what a putz.
@Aslanspal We both agree that it is dirty filthy work, and that the oil industry is dangerous business. Accidents happen, sometimes they are preventable, and sometimes they just seem to happen for no reason. I go to great lengths in this video to say that I do not like BP, but we cannot condemn an entire industry because of bad actions by some people or companies in it. Just like the Valdez is not BPs fault. As for the wrong side, I am on the side of fixing the problem, and not politicizing it.
@Aslanspal What the federal government has done here is disgraceful and borderline incompetent. They have hindered the states from the very beginning. And yes I do know about the second relief well, and since I do not know if a second well is even necessary, I can neither praise nor condemn the Government for it. The US Government, no matter who is in charge, is not always known to look out for the best interests of the people.
The US has turned down expert help from more than a dozen countries, and many people believe this is partly because of the Jones Act. As for the $20 billion dollar fund, many people do not trust the Government to do right by them; just like they do not trust BP either. Big government can be just as bad as big business; neither really cares about the little guys.
@BeanMeister22 BTW you are being disingenuous about the $20 billion dollar trust fund set up for the Gulf of Mexico victims. This money was not just "handed over to the White House" and you know it. It was put into an Escrow account to be adminstered by the man who handled the 911pay outs. This means the Goverment has no access to this money YET you are joining in on the LIE that this money is being stolen which as of yet is just not true. More lies and distractions.
@valhala56 There is a problem with the direction that this conversation is taking. First off, I only shared the concerns that many have about it being a slush fund. I am still up in the air about it myself. And I know who is running it, and many people were not happy with how the 911 pay outs were handled. Just because Bush started handing our tax dollars out to companies, it does not make it right to continue to do so. In DC there is no such thing as a lockbox, which is really what escrow is.
@valhala56 I do not want to waste your time with dozens of examples of TARP money and handouts going to companies who supported democrat candidates, nor do we need to get into why certain democrat congressmen received large amounts of money for their districts at levels far beyond what republicans got. You make the mistake by assuming I am a republican; I am not. You do know that there are certain congressmen already saying that part of this money should go to healthcare? They can't be trusted!
@BeanMeister22 If they "Dem Congressmen" take money out of the GOM Escrow account I am sure the victims will notify all of us they got ripped off and we would know about the scam. So far you are just speculating about this and nothing has been stolen from the Escrow fund. BTW I never called you a Republican I did say Right Wing, do you deny that or are you going to play a game & call yourself a Libertarian or a Tea Bagger? Either way you are no Tree Hugger nor do you really care about the GOM.
Yeah, BeanMeister22, so you are saying that the people who have lost their fishing business, Lost the tourism, Lost their Oyster business should not get any money? The Goverment got money from BP to pay these people but are you saying you against that?
@valhala56 Here is a clever idea...before you comment on a video, you need to watch it. I clearly state that everyone affected needs to be made whole, and I shared concerns that many people have that the money will be used as a political slush fund, instead of going to the people who really deserve it.
Before you respond to this comment, watch the video.
@BeanMeister22 I watched your vid. First off you have no proof of any Slush fund, 2nd why would the Federal Goverment even care about a "Slush fund" When the Federal Goverment can PRINT ALL THE MONEY IT WANTS, IT'S CALLED INFLATION. No the reality is this is political as far as you and the likes of Texas Joe Barton. If you truly cared about the Slush Fund then you would be glad that BP is takeing care of the victims of this diaster. You on the hand care more abou BP then the Fishermen.
@valhala56 Hmm…let me see. The recent Government bailouts have been used as a political slush fund to pay back cronies for their support. Whether you or I agree with that, many people believe that, and therefore are a little suspicious about the Government taking it over. When in fact the Government should oversee BP paying it out, so they are only brought into the picture if there is a dispute. I believe they call that the legal system?
Big government can be just as bad as big business.
@BeanMeister22 You are right, the bailouts were given to the banks. BTW the first one the TARP was done by the Bush Administration all $800 Billion dollars just to refresh your memory. You guys seem to like this "Slush Fund". Call it what you want but the money did go to the banks. So far you have NO proof that any of the $20 Billion set aside for the victims have paid off cronies so until then they are baseless accustions misleading the folks and the GOM victims.
BM22, you are right. But Governments make allmost everything worse, so nothing new. People laughded about Sarah Palin's comment ''call the Dutch'' but indeed many offerings of help by the Dutch were refused. What does Shell say about how to deal with this? And yes, BP is to blame, it seems they made bad decisions but i think also in general mankind is guilty
Safeguards, safety precautions, proper proceedures were NON EXSISTANT on the Deep Water Horizon. Yes, the U.S. Government is GUILTY OF NEGLIGENCE. They MUST get out of the way. 60 Billion isn't enough.
@ozgood1x If I am a plant, then someone needs to start paying me. Maybe you could contact BP and tell them so they will send me money.
YOU ARE AN IDIOT!
Look at my channel, I have been around YT for a couple of years, if I was a plant it would be a new channel. 60 billion may not be enough, but putting the money in the hands of a greedy and incompetent government to dole out as they see fit, is a VERY bad idea, and you know that.
Very enlightening! I've been complaining all along, why isn't the whole world and every branch of the military evolved in stopping this thing. A government failure is an understatement! Stop it now!!
@hallbe It has recently come to light that part of it is due to the Jones Act, which was temporarily waived during the aftermath of Katrina.
No matter what someone's politics is, this current situation is a very good example of why states rights are important. We currently have a federal government who not only is doing too little to solve the problem, they are actively working against states who are trying to protect themselves from the oil coming ashore.
I was born and raised right here in Pensacola Fl. Raised on our beaches, fished our gulf,, my little ones play there,,,life will change now bro, things are different. Really unreal!
@WORRO01 Thanks man, and you know that if they do not get this thing capped, it has the potential to completely destroy the Gulf. But this thing can also be turned around, and it does not have to be anything more than a temporary incident in the history of US oil production. It all depends on the federal government, and whether they want to help the situation, or let it grow to the point that it will be easy to implement a new and oppressing energy policy or even a police state.
well you are giving your perspective from the point of view you need to earn a living from it. the oil industy is known for unsafe joking around, for slave labour in the middle east using people from India as disposable people - it has always been an industry that doesn't care about the people or environment. you are right on many points - but this well can be stopped and they choose not to stop it - why?
@Judy101101 You are 100% wrong; this is not like shutting off a garden hose. If anyone will benefit from this leak, it will be the so-called alternative energy people. The problem with alternative energy, is that it is not yet sustainable or profitable. By not profitable, I mean that it will cost much more to produce, than it is worth. BTW, I am heavily invested in several alternative energy companies, so I do have a desire for them to succeed.
@BeanMeister22 thank you for investing in alternative energy - you are right they aren't as profitable as oil which is why they are being supressed - free energy is pretty cheap. but you are wrong they are not doing what they can to shut this down, they are taking 80,000 suggestions all probably wrong because they give no parameters to work out solutions - give out information as to how bad it really is then you'll see a solutions unfold. there is a solution but they dont' want to receive it
There is a VERY big point you are missing here. This is not some simple problem to solve, and it can REALLY only be solved by EXPERTS in deep sea drilling. It cannot be solved by you or me, or by lawyers, or even by land based oil drilling experts.
You are letting yourself be controlled by your emotions, and it is that kind of thinking that will make this problem even worse than it currently is.
@BeanMeister22 that is where you are totally wrong if you know anything about problem solving - computer programmer - logical thinking - solving impossible problems, making the impossible possible kinda thing. EXPERTS have a way of having tunnel vision and can't think outside the box, all impossible problems have solutions OUTSIDE THE BOX which is why a non expert does have value to solutions. given the right parameters (details) of the exact problem and we can develop the solution needed.
@Judy101101 I understand about thinking outside the box, my channel is based on critical thinking. Before you can make a competent suggestion about how to fix a runaway deep sea oil well, you would have to have years of experience working with deep sea oil wells. That is a FACT that we cannot get around, no matter how well intentioned we are.
@BeanMeister22 I TOTALLY AGREE you need the experts in that field to participate in the problem solving process - they are the only one's able to tell what the parameters are because they have the expertise. that is not to say a "good idea' cannot come from outside sources. outside sources are the out of box thinking needed to solve this problem since the experts can't seem to do it themselves - but hell I'm mentally ill aren't I lol I know how a free energy machine works- dumb shit that I am

Known for unsafe joking? Is that an industry term? Your entire argument will be disregarded by normal people the moment you start making unsubstantiated generalities such as the industry not caring. I worked for Chevron, do you care to guess how many billions of dollars they have spent on charity work? And how many villages now have clean drinking water because of them?
@BeanMeister22 lived in Alberta - oil country. I know exactly what goes on as i've been around that industry for more then 20 years - ex husband worked in the field and had plenty of stories to tell. last bad act - the corporation my ex worked for paid for expensive lawyers to ensure he doesn't have to pay child support - he managed to win orders where i pay him child support AND THE CHILDREN LIVE WITH ME. they drove us homeless while they profit and live the good live and don't pay taxes
@Judy101101 It is clear to everyone here that you are letting your hatred for your ex husband, affect the way you view this situation. I do not know the details of your situation, but you need to step back and stop painting an entire industry with the same brush. I can tell you one thing for sure, land based oil drilling operations, are VERY different than deep sea operations.
@BeanMeister22 you can view my perspective as hatred - I don't hate at all, I happen to understand why he does what he does - pretty easy to forgive when you see what causes problems. but that doesn't mean the behaviour isn't there and continues. yes I agree there is probably a pretty big difference between land and sea just as i know I've known good guys in the oil industry and bad ones - good people might be trying to help, but bad people are directing NO DOUBT ABOUT IT
@BeanMeister22 I know the joking that goes on with new employees - very dangerous games they play. I know the toxic waist they leave out in communities they do work in - plenty of people dying from it and nobody gives a shit. it's an industry that needs to get shut down
@Judy101101 Everyone viewing this video thinks you are a nut job! You are the exact reason I did not want to make this video. You have no experience in the oil industry, you claim to know things, but you really have no idea what you are talking about. And worst of all, you are a hypocrite because we are communicating on a computer that took petroleum to produce. Go seek some mental help and maybe get your meds adjusted, and then get back to me so we can have a rational discussion.

@BeanMeister22 that kind of speaks volumes about you lol - breath in all that fresh air down there, enjoy the experience of your own making lol yup they are doing their best to SAVE you lol. you go trust these people lol trust them with your life lol after your dead lol or have cancer you can go and get some medical help yourself lol you wouldn't know ration if it hit you in the face judging by your comment
That is very true. I wish they would have got on it right away. But no. So to me it seems like there is some sort of a foul reason things were let go. I wonder if there are bigger reasons for this to have got out of hand. Thats what I am saying get this stuff done. Animals are dieing and what are they going to do when a Wail washes up on shore. If that happens then there going to know that its out of control worse then what they thought. Thank you for sharing your info on this Jim. God bless you
funny, i've been saying that..about the risks involved. there's a reason underwater welders get the cash they do (and the time off). i just did a video talking about how the focus should be on solutions not politics. washington dc is so insular they have no idea. they really have no idea.
@battim Part of the problem here, is that we have it so good in this country, that many people do not realize what it actually takes to accomplish a task as big as capping a deep-sea well. We are still at the point in this thing, where some wrong moves could result in runaway well that gushes for years. This would be a bad time for our country to be attacked.
@BeanMeister22 the oil industry is a microcosm. they have no idea why it is they live in the standard of living they are afforded. industry is a sliver of the big picture. to accomplish the task of living the life of an american takes trillions of dollars, the finest fighting force man has ever known and a lot of human resource management. mechanical failure happens. the rhetoric is nightmare.
I'm sure this video will get alot of responses mine was just telling people that there are alternatives we could be looking into. Someone suggested natural gas i.e. propane., which they have been trying it out for quite sometime. Hydrogen although expensive ot produce is another one. But you're right there's enough time later for blame to go around.
@PlasmaDude47 I did not want to make it because it will attract a lot of nut jobs, but after watching a video by some plumber who showed how to cap a well he simulated with a garden hose, I had no choice.
BP are dumbasses. Earth is bleeding. We now risk earthquakes. We risk "oilcanes (hurricanes with oil)." The government or oil companies (I'm confused on who does this) should have sent out booms. We don't even have enough booms. People in the south are traumatized. Natural gas could also rise and kill many. Anything can happen now. Luckily, many sea animals are moving away from the oil-infected areas. God is giving BP, the government, every idiot politician mean looks now.
@CITGProductions Oh I am sure that they are getting more than just a mean look from God right now. But oil was put here for us to use, so I really cannot agree with your Earth is bleeding idea.
You are correct, anything can happen right now, so it is not yet the time to point fingers; it is the time to fix the well head and stop the oil flow.
Smart idea! The title B.P. gets hits!! I think this video is SLICK enough to FLOOD the web!! I'm sure your numbers are going EXPLODE on this one. I agree with you about the government using this to push their agenda. That's Rahm Emanuael's policy- use a crisis to push your agenda! Great video BM22!!
Thanks, and on that very topic. Right after Rahm was chosen as the chief of staff, I posted a controversial video that asked where the change was. I said that we had been promised change, but with people like Rahm in the inner circle, we were getting business as usual in DC. As you may have guessed, that was a little bit to edgy for the YT viewers.
As I said, I really did not want to make this video, but I think people need to hear the truth from an insider.
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are a hypocrite and the hot air that you spout is worthless.
If you answered no to those questions, then I will call you a liar! Because we are communicating on a computer, that oil helped to produce and transport halfway around the world. Hmm...maybe you should clean up your own lifestyle, before you start pointing fingers at other people.

How about the fact the real money comes from commercial fishing in most gulf states not oil. How about the decades the government gave money to the oil companies? Beanmeister---I have not heard anything like what you are putting out there. I did not know our govt did not accept offers of help from so many places. Makes me a little sick tho. I do know that boycotting a local BP station is not the right direction.. He is 1 little businessman who probably gets his oil from, one of the refinery's in Lake Charles. They have nothing to do with BP. This is the time to pay attention & support the local individual businesses man. Shop in the local town,
TheMsbear 1 year ago 2
@TheMsbear I agree, hurting the local gas station is not the answer. The answer is to not invest in BP, if people don't like BP, then they need to sell any BP stock they may have.
As for the help being turned down, you can do a few searches and come up with the specifics, but it is true, and not just internet hype. The exact reason why is not so clear; many people believe that it is due to the Jones Act which would make it clearly political.

Maybe the fact that I live on the Gulf affects my attitude.
anmoose 1 year ago
@anmoose I agree that the tech to fix the leak is in the industry, but the Navy should have responded with oil booms and support vessels. The Government should not have turned down help from other countries, and they should have suspended the Jones Act from the start. I recently talked to someone on the ground, and there is a possibility that this runaway well will never be capped.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22
If it should turn out that this monster can't be stopped, then BP holds the singular honor of having completely destroyed the Gulf of Mexico. And in the long run it will affect the ecology of the entire planet. Nice work, people...
anmoose 1 year ago
@anmoose You are 100% correct on that.

I think you know that.
valhala56 1 year ago
BM22, you keep siding with BP on this so called "Slush Fund" So your leaders, Bachman, Barton, Limbaugh et al tell you this eventhough they have no evidence that the Goverment has "Slushed out" any money yet.
But what is more important to me is that YOU would rather have the victims fight this out with BP in court over 20 years "Exxon/Valdez" fianlly settled after 20 years then the victims be compensated now.
In essance you are for the rights of BP over the Gulf of Mexico victims rights.
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 Bickering about it won't solve the problem, though
ElanaVital83 1 year ago
@ElanaVital83 I don't see it as nessarcarily bickering. This "Slush Fund" lie has been traveling the Right Wing circuit. The reality is the $20 Billion has been put in Escrow to be adminstered by a third party, the man who did the 911 Trust fund. Now if and when they show that money has been stolen out of the Trust fund I will be on their side but until then they are hurting the victims who probaly do not want to wait 20 years to collect compensation after their lives have been ruined.

BTW do you REALLY think the Feds did this on purpose just to make things worse?
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 Well, we agree on this.

All I can say about you is that you are a cruel and heatless man.
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 You are flat out WRONG! You have not watched this video, or if you did, you did not listen to what I said.
1. I do not like BP
2. BP is responsible to make EVERYONE whole (BP must pay)
3. The US Government is hampering the states in their fight to protect their beaches.
4. I am heavily invested in alternative energy (not mentioned in video)
5. The point is that we stop the oil flow, save the beaches, save the wildlife, then we play the blame game; blame is last, and not first.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 Great, you agree BP screwed the pooch on this one. We agree on that. So what is your beef with the White House getting BP to pay money NOW to the Victims? There is NO proof of any Slush fund. AS of now this is nothing but Right Wing Propagand. You come back to me with Proof that this money has gone to ACORN or anything else then Yeah I will be on your side, but until you have evidence then it is simply Right Wing Reactionary Propagand Distraction and you know it.
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 You still miss the point on the money. The US government has just forced a publically held company to pay $20 billion into a fund, without the benefit of a trial. The legal system exists for a reason. As for the slush fund, the fears may very well be unfounded, but the fears are real.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 Did they literaly put a gun to Tony Haywood's head and tell em pay or die or did they do some arm twisting and guilt trip on behalf of the victims?
It really blows me away that you take the side of BP over the Victims in the Gulf of Mexico. Hopefully people living on the Gulf read this & are cognizant of Barton's Bachman's Limbaugh total insensititvity to the plight of the Gulf of Mexico victims.
BTW do you live on the coast in Lousisana? Have you lost YOUR JOB?
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 We pay our taxes at the point of a gun. If we do not pay, the Government will eventually send armed men to our house to arrest us, is that not at the point of a gun? The Government had already publically suggested that BP cede control to the Government until this mess was handled. Do you think BP had any choice in this matter? And why only $20 billion? This will probably cost much more than that.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 Believe me, I had the IRS pull me into their offices and I was makeing $8 an hour in 1992. So if the IRS can take money from me, why not a Multi Billion dolllar Oil in Company?
Personaly I think there is not enough money in the world to cover the cost of this. The $20 Billion is a start and the victims don't have to wait 20 years to recover & pay 1/2 to a lawyer!
I would be willing to bet if you lost your business in the Oil you would be first in line to collect from the Slush
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 You have not addressed the federal Government's hindering of states to protect themselves against the oil coming ashore, nor have you addressed the reason why the Government refused help from other countries, and why they did not assign the Navy on this from the beginning. As for the help from foreign countries being denied, that was because of the Jones Act (which was temporarily suspended after Katrina), but why was the US Navy not used?

You are on the wrong side of history BM22 here...I worked in the oil fields in the late 70's and early 80's...it is a filthy and dirty business.
actually they are working on two relief wells...BP only wanted a one shot relief well but "We the people" government held their feet to the fire.
Yeah, Obama is riding BP and using a whip...good for him.
Aslanspal 1 year ago
@Aslanspal We both agree that it is dirty filthy work, and that the oil industry is dangerous business. Accidents happen, sometimes they are preventable, and sometimes they just seem to happen for no reason. I go to great lengths in this video to say that I do not like BP, but we cannot condemn an entire industry because of bad actions by some people or companies in it. Just like the Valdez is not BPs fault. As for the wrong side, I am on the side of fixing the problem, and not politicizing it.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@Aslanspal What the federal government has done here is disgraceful and borderline incompetent. They have hindered the states from the very beginning. And yes I do know about the second relief well, and since I do not know if a second well is even necessary, I can neither praise nor condemn the Government for it. The US Government, no matter who is in charge, is not always known to look out for the best interests of the people.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@Aslanspal
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 BTW you are being disingenuous about the $20 billion dollar trust fund set up for the Gulf of Mexico victims. This money was not just "handed over to the White House" and you know it. It was put into an Escrow account to be adminstered by the man who handled the 911pay outs. This means the Goverment has no access to this money YET you are joining in on the LIE that this money is being stolen which as of yet is just not true. More lies and distractions.
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 There is a problem with the direction that this conversation is taking. First off, I only shared the concerns that many have about it being a slush fund. I am still up in the air about it myself. And I know who is running it, and many people were not happy with how the 911 pay outs were handled. Just because Bush started handing our tax dollars out to companies, it does not make it right to continue to do so. In DC there is no such thing as a lockbox, which is really what escrow is.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@valhala56 I do not want to waste your time with dozens of examples of TARP money and handouts going to companies who supported democrat candidates, nor do we need to get into why certain democrat congressmen received large amounts of money for their districts at levels far beyond what republicans got. You make the mistake by assuming I am a republican; I am not. You do know that there are certain congressmen already saying that part of this money should go to healthcare? They can't be trusted!
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 If they "Dem Congressmen" take money out of the GOM Escrow account I am sure the victims will notify all of us they got ripped off and we would know about the scam. valhala56 1 year ago
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 I watched your vid. First off you have no proof of any Slush fund, 2nd why would the Federal Goverment even care about a "Slush fund" When the Federal Goverment can PRINT ALL THE MONEY IT WANTS, IT'S CALLED INFLATION. No the reality is this is political as far as you and the likes of Texas Joe Barton. If you truly cared about the Slush Fund then you would be glad that BP is takeing care of the victims of this diaster. You on the hand care more abou BP then the Fishermen.
valhala56 1 year ago
@valhala56 Hmm…let me see. The recent Government bailouts have been used as a political slush fund to pay back cronies for their support. Whether you or I agree with that, many people believe that, and therefore are a little suspicious about the Government taking it over. When in fact the Government should oversee BP paying it out, so they are only brought into the picture if there is a dispute. I believe they call that the legal system?
Big government can be just as bad as big business.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 You are right, the bailouts were given to the banks. BTW the first one the TARP was done by the Bush Administration all $800 Billion dollars just to refresh your memory. You guys seem to like this "Slush Fund". Call it what you want but the money did go to the banks. So far you have NO proof that any of the $20 Billion set aside for the victims have paid off cronies so until then they are baseless accustions misleading the folks and the GOM victims.

Thumbs UP on this video.

Judy101101 1 year ago
@Judy101101 You are 100% wrong; this is not like shutting off a garden hose. If anyone will benefit from this leak, it will be the so-called alternative energy people. The problem with alternative energy, is that it is not yet sustainable or profitable. By not profitable, I mean that it will cost much more to produce, than it is worth. BTW, I am heavily invested in several alternative energy companies, so I do have a desire for them to succeed.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 thank you for investing in alternative energy - you are right they aren't as profitable as oil which is why they are being supressed - free energy is pretty cheap. but you are wrong they are not doing what they can to shut this down, they are taking 80,000 suggestions all probably wrong because they give no parameters to work out solutions - give out information as to how bad it really is then you'll see a solutions unfold. there is a solution but they dont' want to receive it
Judy101101 1 year ago
@Judy101101
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 that is where you are totally wrong if you know anything about problem solving - computer programmer - logical thinking - solving impossible problems, making the impossible possible kinda thing. EXPERTS have a way of having tunnel vision and can't think outside the box, all impossible problems have solutions OUTSIDE THE BOX which is why a non expert does have value to solutions. given the right parameters (details) of the exact problem and we can develop the solution needed.
Judy101101 1 year ago
@Judy101101 I understand about thinking outside the box, my channel is based on critical thinking. Before you can make a competent suggestion about how to fix a runaway deep sea oil well, you would have to have years of experience working with deep sea oil wells. That is a FACT that we cannot get around, no matter how well intentioned we are.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago

BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 lived in Alberta - oil country. I know exactly what goes on as i've been around that industry for more then 20 years - ex husband worked in the field and had plenty of stories to tell. last bad act - the corporation my ex worked for paid for expensive lawyers to ensure he doesn't have to pay child support - he managed to win orders where i pay him child support AND THE CHILDREN LIVE WITH ME. they drove us homeless while they profit and live the good live and don't pay taxes
Judy101101 1 year ago
@Judy101101 It is clear to everyone here that you are letting your hatred for your ex husband, affect the way you view this situation. I do not know the details of your situation, but you need to step back and stop painting an entire industry with the same brush. I can tell you one thing for sure, land based oil drilling operations, are VERY different than deep sea operations.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 you can view my perspective as hatred - I don't hate at all, I happen to understand why he does what he does - pretty easy to forgive when you see what causes problems. but that doesn't mean the behaviour isn't there and continues. yes I agree there is probably a pretty big difference between land and sea just as i know I've known good guys in the oil industry and bad ones - good people might be trying to help, but bad people are directing NO DOUBT ABOUT IT
Judy101101 1 year ago

Judy101101 1 year ago
That is very true. I wish they would have got on it right away. But no. So to me it seems like there is some sort of a foul reason things were let go. I wonder if there are bigger reasons for this to have got out of hand. Thats what I am saying get this stuff done. Animals are dieing and what are they going to do when a Wail washes up on shore. If that happens then there going to know that its out of control worse then what they thought. Thank you for sharing your info on this Jim. God bless you

funny, i've been saying that..about the risks involved. there's a reason underwater welders get the cash they do (and the time off). i just did a video talking about how the focus should be on solutions not politics. washington dc is so insular they have no idea. they really have no idea.
battim 1 year ago
@battim Part of the problem here, is that we have it so good in this country, that many people do not realize what it actually takes to accomplish a task as big as capping a deep-sea well. We are still at the point in this thing, where some wrong moves could result in runaway well that gushes for years. This would be a bad time for our country to be attacked.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago

PlasmaDude47 1 year ago
@PlasmaDude47 I did not want to make it because it will attract a lot of nut jobs, but after watching a video by some plumber who showed how to cap a well he simulated with a garden hose, I had no choice.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 Can't blame ya for that, and capping a simulated well with a garden hose is big difference then one 3000 - 5000 feet below the ocean:)

CITGProductions 1 year ago
@CITGProductions Oh I am sure that they are getting more than just a mean look from God right now. But oil was put here for us to use, so I really cannot agree with your Earth is bleeding idea.
You are correct, anything can happen right now, so it is not yet the time to point fingers; it is the time to fix the well head and stop the oil flow.
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@BeanMeister22 Yep.

Smart idea! The title B.P. gets hits!! I think this video is SLICK enough to FLOOD the web!! I'm sure your numbers are going EXPLODE on this one. I agree with you about the government using this to push their agenda. That's Rahm Emanuael's policy- use a crisis to push your agenda! Great video BM22!!
biggydman 1 year ago
@biggydman

Do you care about the planet?
We need to make sacrifices to save our planet.
We have no right to kill innocent animals and people to get what we want.
picklesloveslight 1 year ago
@picklesloveslight Do you use oil? Do you use any product that contains oil? Do you eat any food other than what you grow in your own backyard?
BeanMeister22 1 year ago
@picklesloveslight
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are a hypocrite and the hot air that you spout is worthless.
If you answered no to those questions, then I will call you a liar! Because we are communicating on a computer, that oil helped to produce and transport halfway around the world. Hmm...maybe you should clean up your own lifestyle, before you start pointing fingers at other people.

shove the executives of BP down the well until the oil stops leaking!
