I have never been to this mall before yet I just got teary eyed by seeing the ruins. I just can picture the past and see all the people shopping and having a good time. :-(
What they should do is tear it all down and then rebuild it from the ground up as from the looks of what is left, is too late to remodel it as it is too far gone.
@IWantThatChicken--The mall is still there. Sections of it have been torn down over the years, but what remains is in ruins. I didn't even dare go in much less get out of the car; I drove around. One has to be very brave for actually having the courage to go in there. The place is gated all around and there is a police station close by. It was depressing enough to look at it from the outside. Not to mention that it's not in a very good part of town.
@jonrev Haha, yeah I'm no president of the Steady Hands Club. Walking around with the camera strapped to my hand and keeping is straight isn't my forte. XD
@MissouriEarthMovers Originally it did have voice commentary. Unfortunately I know nothing of the place really so the captions pretty much say what I would have if I didn't cover it with music.
They are finally demolishing it. Was a cool place to go look around back in the day. But by the time I got there it was pretty much a empty shell.

I use to go to this mall as a kid, they plan on tearing it down in the next couple months. Thanks for the tour

feral dogs and people hang in there.
The police don't really do much about the mall, they have bigger problems out on the streets in Harvey.
I would assume there are dead animals as well as maybe a few people in there too

@cellphonesrock76 I think it would still be there. It's been awhile since I was last there, but I don't think it was torn down.

Great footage but would have rather had some talking or ambience over the music.
