  • They are finally demolishing it. Was a cool place to go look around back in the day. But by the time I got there it was pretty much a empty shell.

  • death of the mall--relick of the 80's

  • I use to go to this mall as a kid, they plan on tearing it down in the next couple months. Thanks for the tour

  • What they should do is tear it all down and then rebuild it from the ground up as from the looks of what is left, is too late to remodel it as it is too far gone.

  • feral dogs and people hang in there.

The police don't really do much about the mall, they have bigger problems out on the streets in Harvey.

I would assume there are dead animals as well as maybe a few people in there too

  • @kbofnl i feel sorry for the dogs

  • does anybody know if there are any wild animals living in there

  • They filmed the blues brothers there

  • Is this still here? like if i went to Harvey would i be able to make a video like this??? i want to be there it looks cool

  • @cellphonesrock76 I think it would still be there. It's been awhile since I was last there, but I don't think it was torn down.

  • @IWantThatChicken--The mall is still there. Sections of it have been torn down over the years, but what remains is in ruins. I didn't even dare go in much less get out of the car; I drove around. One has to be very brave for actually having the courage to go in there. The place is gated all around and there is a police station close by. It was depressing enough to look at it from the outside. Not to mention that it's not in a very good part of town.

  • i love this song :) and great video.. I love abandoned malls

  • The movie Blues Brothers was filmed here in 1979, Dan Aykroyd wrote it.

  • Heh... deadmau5 actually works well with DSM footage... but man was that shakey.

  • @jonrev Haha, yeah I'm no president of the Steady Hands Club. Walking around with the camera strapped to my hand and keeping is straight isn't my forte. XD

  • Mayor Kellog sure got his monies worth out of this place...

  • Great footage but would have rather had some talking or ambience over the music.

  • @MissouriEarthMovers Originally it did have voice commentary. Unfortunately I know nothing of the place really so the captions pretty much say what I would have if I didn't cover it with music.
