Thank you for posting this, Mudflap had me confused on his transformation at the point where you rotate the back pack. I couldn't get it to rotate all the way. Great video. Thank you so much! Now I have robot mode Mudflap. Skids was easy, but Mudflap, grrr. Watching a live transformation solved my problem just like that. I had him transformed about the same time you did. Thanks again for being generous enough to post this great video.

He didn't fold the front bumper under. Plus, on mine, I can fold the front windshield in so that his backpack is almost perfectly square. I never had a problem with the doors or pegging of the backpack.

I remember when transformers used to be fun, now they're nothing but a mess of spindly limbs that you must fold, refold, and refold yet again, and cheapass plastic pieces that keeps popping up because they're on ball joints...

Sure they have popping pieces, but at least they have a lot of articulation . . . and really intelligent transformations which makes these figures well known.

it,s funny cause on my one he does clip together easely just when you try to put the pack behind his head in the holl on the backpack you have to make sure the weels arent in the way of the parts where the door wings are on so you have to pool those doors a little bit to the side then he will have room to pack in

i have the tuner repaint (tuner mudflap) and it's the same exact transformation and the backpack doesn't peg in as well, but the doors seem to be a little sturdier, they still fall off occasionally but not as much as in this video.

as a fellow critic to the doors i have found a way to fold the in behind him like hide them in the backpack. i just kinda fold one and then fold the other and kinda force them back there. At first they broke off but soon got them to just fold on each other.as far as i know this trick doesnt affect anything else, but yeah just a trick to get those windows to sray on and out of the way

Mine tabs in fine... Either I've got an unusually tight Mudflap (lulz), or I've done something other people are having trouble with. I mean I can get his backpack to peg in behind his head fine and his doors stay on without issue... It's a mystery.

Super glue fixes loose joints for all you people who own this figure. Pop off the joint and apply a small drop on the ball. Then pop the joint back on and keep moving the joint in every way possible. In about a minute or less, it should start getting really tight. There ya go!

I did this to my Mudflap and he's super awesome now.

Peaugh, you should do an update on mudflap. You have the windshield part wrong! you can actually bend it outwards, instead of inwards like you did it, and it will leave space for the backpack, leaving it exactly like the one skids has, it will peg in better, have better balance,also his wings will go backwards a little more, if you dont understand what i mean, i can send you pics of what i did to make it look better.

if you look at 10:03 the light gray joint being pushed up, that can be pushed all the way up into the back/car section

it just leaves the windscreen/bonnet piece hanging at about ass level

this makes the waist more sturdy and in the right place

also i think it looks better when the front bumper is flipped to the orange side

skids is cooler ...but his transformation back into car mode is difficult cuz of his massive arm not fittin in properly and easily ....and his back pack needs a lot of muscle to collapse it cuz it sticks verry much ...but becareful as not to break it.
