WTF...That armbar will never work unless you control the hand or wrist. Holding a pair of Nunchaku will never get you an armbar or control for one. Any MMA fighter will tell you, believe me I have done it for a while. First rule for a joint lock ie armbar is leverage your assailant only has to step around you and face you to take your leverage away.....studing weapons is a waste...my body is my weapon stand up or on the ground

@melecasm Choreographed movements are key to real life situations. They give you a possible outcome and show you how to go through with it. A lot of the time all you have to make are simple adjustments. Like a straight punch in Tae Kwon Do and the block, move to choke hold, technique. I used that on a kid who was being an ass in the bathroom at school. All it took was a choreographed move with simple adjustments to take care of the problem.

For starters This guy needs to get in shape! and secondly if you look at the stance of the attacker at 0.15 the nun chucks are not even needed you could move in before the guy can even strike and snap his right leg between the tibia and patella jobs a gooden! but also equally the instructors stance is much much worse at 0.15! that don't look right, if i had nunchuck i would hit him first. the moves shown can be done using empty hand with the X block, once you get the stick off the guy, you use the stick to hit him. this demo the nunchuck don't play a big roll.

some of you seem to be forgetting that in a Martial Arts school the basis is self-defense, not an all-out fight like we see in many movies. The attacker in this situation is more often than not assumed to be some random guy with little to no experience with weapons. its pretty obvious that the techniques he performed are actually done fast in a real-life thing. The aim is defending yourself first.
