Hi,

Just wanted to say happy thanksgiving;) Also, tonight I went to turn on the car and it won't start. The batt. is fully charged and when u turn the key it sounds like its grinding but not cranking at all. Sounds like if you had an automatic and turned the key again after the car was running and u hear that grinding sound, thats what it sounds like and I'm not sure why its doing that all the sudden. Any idea's?

I have the original SS hood and it is paint matched. It would not fit with the 540 as it is a tall deck. A lesson learned after the motor was in!

Cory, I have 3 540's - mine are all standard deck height. They fit under the stock cowl hood of my 69 Camaro even with the nitrous plate under the carb.

What kinda block you got? Mine are Merlins.

I've seen people who hear a lopey cam and they say the engines not running right or something like that, usually ricers, skyline or supras guys.
