@agominator how do you think bands make an album? they all just put their money together? if they arent backed by a label yes but if you have a label they put up the money and the band has to pay back the production cost, its the same for the DVD

You are partially correct.

The truth is that the bands sign a deal and then borrow all the money to record the album and tour.

All of this money is recoupable by the label. Very few bands on a record label ever turn a profit.

Usual 1 or 2 big bands on the record label will cover the losses made by everyone on the artist roster.

At least this is how it was when I work at Universal.

@agominator I don't know what you mean by "not singing opera in an album since after forever" ... she sings with opera vocals in the Revamp album in several parts and more than one song. She does it less than in the first albums of AF yes, but she still does it.

Floor's voice is still surprising me... has it got any limits? I hope next Revamp album is more operatic. Anyway, they two seem to be great people, with good sense of humour which makes me admire them moreover.
