chevy never breaks down and has hardly any problems. but toyota...engine sludge, bad brakes, rusty frames, and malfunctioning pedals all tell u that it would NOT last 10 years.
the 10year/100,000 mile warranty shows how much trust and appreciation they hav on their vehicles, now i ask u do u like ur sticky pedal 5year jap crap? cause obviously toyota doesnt.
GM can Eat MY STINKY SHIT LOAF and my rectal runny DIARRHEA. How someone could spend their hard earned money on GARBAGE that has no resale value is beyond me. :-)
@waterfordjim chevy has had some of the best resale values.... for forever. a chevy will last you longer than a dodge and just as long as a ford (treatment varying) why would i buy one? cuz we've owned all three, GM ford and dodge, and GM has the least of problems for us. plus i think they just look nicer.
how about getting something that is reliable like a japanese car. 10yr warranty why do we need that? theres no point if he doesnt break down like a POS GM. they need a 10yr warranty. i got a camry 450 000km's no rust, eat shit fagget no repair bills.
NO quadrider203 they're not the same chevy doesn't back their product. Ford trucks are better quality, tougher hense built ford tough and ford has more horsepower.
why is everyone always fighting about gm and ford if u really look at it they are both the same its how people take care of there cars go to uti and learn a few things..
ford all the way. '89 f-250, '03 f-150, '03 e-350, '07 f-150, '8 f-150 and almost no problems. only ones are the f-250 has a VERY small oil leak (typical for vehicles over 150K miles) and the e-350 blew an alternator because the guys who serviced it didn't do the battery right, bouncing around all over the place. all are stock and havehad many more in the past. we've had chevy, too and will never buy them again.
we too are a ford family, and have had few if any problems...cant say that about GM products weve tried, my siters olds cutlass and my total POS grand am. my dads ranger was wrecked 3 times, the 3rd being the worst. he was hit on the pass. side right infront of the rear tire, snapping the leaf spring and pulling the shaft out of the tranny. new leaf spring/driveshaft back in place and it drove!! its durability like that that keeps us a ford family
exactly. and we put ours through abuse. they are all 2wd, but we occasionally do some offroading and burnouts. i have always loved ford's durability. for instance, the first thing you notice about any GM is that the door handles feel like they are going to fall off. then you drive around town and see taillights out, i've seen a few on fire coming up the pass. ford on the other hand, you notice the door handle is solid, you can sit on the thing. hey, they tow more. what else can i say?
lets just agree that GM products as a whole are inferior to Ford, not just in terms of power, refinement, etc. but as a whole a much better package than its competitors. sure the PSD isnt the most powerful but its been around since the first PSD in '94. it took GM two previous diesels (6.2&6.5) to get it right. as old as the twinI I-beam is its still around because next to a solid axle, its durability for cant be be beat...IFS cant say that. GM owners have to buy tie rods in bulk ha ha
oooh yeah i can agree with that. my uncle's 3500 snapped a tie rod, while towing a toy hauler (means less weight on front). those things are a joke. but yeah i love the i beam, have it on my truck. fords can go through hell and back.
yeah, my moms trailblazer keeps blowing headlights like crazy! and we have a buddy at a chevy dealership and he said its really common on the trailblazers...since the issue first occurred, half of all chevy trucks/SUVs i see have a headlight out!
american vehicles suck, we had a 99 f-1shitty (i really dont know why we bought it) with 64000 miles with a shit load of problems, month later we bought a 2000 v8 tundra
if you bought it with 68K miles don't blame the truck. for all you know it could be the second oil change. when you buy a used car always make sure it was treated properly and service it right away.
I had an S-10, less than 100,000 KM's.. yah. Kilometers not miles, and the rear end blew out, with a rear locker that was $7500 for a new one installed. GM admitted that it shouldn't have happened but they wouldn't help me have it fixed. This was after replacing 5 U-joints, so there were problems from the start, NEVER buying GM again.
GM, Ford, Chrysler, VW and Volvo all suck shit.BMW,Benz,Honda, and Toyota make way better cars than the pieces of crap Americans produce. Even Hyundai is better than GM.
fair fair fair....which is not good at all...and most likely, all the reliablity is rated "poor" in consumer reports, which i was reading not but a hour ago.
I would be pissed off if my truck's horn stayed on like that... Thank God I drive a Ford.

Hyundai also does now make great cars and they are very cheap. the new Sonata and Santa Fe are really nice not to mention reliable.

You'll be cursed with Fords, Chevys and Dodges. Toyota, Honda and Nissan are the only ways to go. Corolla is top seller worldwide!

normal. i have had plenty of older cars and never had this problem. is this how GM lovers justify pos cars by saying it's normal
