I finally got a chance to hear it. This is a really heartfelt beautiful tribute to John. What a beautiful song! I love the guitars,it actually sounded like it could have been a lost classic from the Double Fantasy album. The guitar sound is fabulous my buddy Eric,loved it!! You sing it with a strong and tender voice interchanging both which is brilliant! :))) I smiled the whole way. You and Joanne co wrote it? She's so fabulous a writer artist singer too. You both rock our worlds! :)))

@Kappadanielson Hey You! :) Ive been in a Lennon songwriting mode, it started with my other original I just posted "Oh My Love" I was listening to one of my all time fav albums "Double Fantasy" and this song just popped out. I wrote the music as I was recording it, in a few hrs, Joanne came to mind, I asked her "please send me some lyrics" in 5 min she wrote it, without listening to the song :D amazing how things just happen. Much Love Kappa, I still love your cd, its in my music room :) X

@amdispersed Great comment...I love it! Well...I just started playing my acoustic and recorded that. Then...I added the rock guitar part, then added the bass. I asked Joanne to come up with lyrics, she wrote the lyrics in 5 min. without listening to the song (wow...that was amazing to me) then I did the vocals. Sooo...I think it took a few hrs total. I think Joanne will be doing a verson of our song soon with her amazing vocals. You Rock! Thank You. Much love and blessings

@amdispersed Wow...you are amazing! I can wait days or even weeks until a song comes to me but when it does, it all happens so fast and I cant understand how. When I write lyrics I usually write them in 30 min or less and write the music min. before I record it. I try not to write with my mind and think to hard but write how Im feeling at that moment. There is no thought process to my songwriting. Wow...you made my day with your amazing comment. You Rock! :)))

Really cool song! Love the effect on your vocals, is that just a nice reverb? did you double them at all? what's your secret, hehe.

@zerobio Thank you Elliot for your great comment. Its just my voice, its has a bit of a raspy sound to it. I didnt double the vocals. I use a MXL V 69 tube mic and a Zoom 8-track for recording. The guitar that I use for the heavy sounds is a 1962 Les Paul SG Jr that ive had for many years. I love the sound of the P-90 pickup. Great to hear from you buddy.
