Think about it - people think this show is a joke. Legally Blonde is not for everyone. When I tell people about the show, they think the fact that they made Legally Blonde into a musical is hilarious. It's the unfortunate reality of the situation. I personally loved it when I saw it and wish that it hadn't closed :(

I did a little research ( asking my vocal coach and everybody else) singing ( in this case, half-belting) for a show 8 times a week tends to take a toll on your voice. They lowered it for LBB not only because it was straining her voice, you can develope nodules (sp?) like Julie Andrews.

Bailey's transition is almost an octave lower than LBB. I'm not sure if this was because thay didn't want to ruin Baliey's voice like LBB's or if Baliey simply couldn't handel it. But either way, it lacks the internsity this song requires. I'm sorry... but this version is at best mediocre

2. Laura Bell Bundy(a close second loved her)
3. Haven Burton(great as Elle)
4. Becky Gulsvig(Good)
5. Bailey(just okay don't blow me away)

I am not saying that I dont like her or think that LBB was better
I can see that Bailey improves a lot from the reality show,but I dont think she is good enough to be elle.Her voice's great but def NOT strong enough to be a broadway star.
But I think she will get better of doing the show 8 days a week.

Whoa, Bailey has definitely improved since the reality show! I'll always like Bailey but LBB was better, and a lot of people think the same, not only because LBB is amazing, but because she was the first. Bailey is awesome, and she definitely IS Elle Woods. (:

Ummm...people who are saying that they "don't like" Bailey or "like Laura Bell better" are probably people who would be happy if someone capable of doing this role justice was playing it. To replace someone who has been doing professional theatre since she was a little, with an unseasoned community theatre actress is RIDICULOUS when there are tons of people in New York City working their asses off waiting tables who would do it better. Don't get pissed at people who truly appreciate theatre!

I saw Laura Bell Bundy three times and she blew me away each time. Im going next week to see Bailey, and i can't wait. I must admit tho, she has improved SO much since the MTV show.

Makes me curious if Christain IS sad Laura went, I mean, not because he probably made a life long friend with her but because the show isnt the same without her. You look at Laura and she looked so sweet and kind and looked like she was friends with all the cast etc.
Baily on the other hand looks like she is a cow, she isnt kind and sweet etc like Laura was and backstage I cant see her being exactly little miss niceness, not like Laura more then likely was, noone likes those types of people.

Just saw the show yesterday...Autumn was in it and was awesome backstage....as for Bailey she decided to pull a no show and my sister was crying the ride home because she couldn't meet Bailey. I'm really annoyed with her for that -.-

I've heard he does want out of there....He was supposed to leave August but his show he was doing next got moved back cuz they couldn't find a theater.
I heard a rumor that at one point he planned on calling out of the show from Bailey's first show until his finale performance. But that was just a rumor

I did a little research ( asking my vocal coach and everybody else) singing ( in this case, half-belting) for a show 8 times a week tends to take a toll on your voice. They lowered it for LBB not only because it was straining her voice, you can develope nodules (sp?) like Julie Andrews.

Bailey's transition is almost an octave lower than LBB. I'm not sure if this was because thay didn't want to ruin Baliey's voice like LBB's or if Baliey simply couldn't handel it. But either way, it lacks the internsity this song requires. I'm sorry... but this version is at best mediocre
