the cell produces about half a liter of gas a minute. the volume of the combuston chamber is just over one liter. i would fill it up for 1 to 2 minutes or before the jumper cables powering the cell melts.
you shoukd be getting way more power from you cannon then that not that it wasnt powerfull, how long did you fill it for because when i did it mine was like a real gun 700kmh clay balls

It's possible, just not practical. You have to gather the hydrogen + oxygen, which means a lot of electricity and a lot of waiting.

If you use metal projectiles, you will get better penetration, and you can reuse them if you can find them.

how much do you know about electolysis? What is better...
distlled or tap water?
high or low voltage?
