That was really good, 1 problem though, wouldn't the characters die if they have no one to control them, I mean the players got themselves killed, and then the characters should have fallen cause no one was commanding them. Still I understand it's just a movie, but thats my biggest problem. Well produced :)

I am with the folks that said the second one was better, but I think it helps that the acting was better, it was a full-length film, and the movie was based less on people arguing with the DM and more on the adventure and the conflict between story-gamers vs. power-gamers (Joanna/Lodge vs. Kess). I also liked the involvement of an NPC in the story. I really think the DM's use of NPCs in games helps out the story a lot, and that's coming from personal experience.

This one still rocks, though

Of course, if they were playing D&D, then an Int score of 4 would make him barely able to function. Under 9, you can't speak properly. Then again, it's fairly obvious that they're not playing D&D.

Well, I guess that depends on the DM, generaly where we play a low Int modificator sugest that your character is kinda savage or uncultured, you know,low int low knowledge, but not nesesarily low IQ. Maybe your barbarian has 6 int, but he is quite cleaver, just he dont know how a repetition crossbow work, or he never saw a windmill, or maybe full plate armor looks like some kind of monster to him.

It deppends of how you role it.

The Gamers: Dorkness Rising is an excellent movie. After watching it about 8 times, I drew the conclusion it is the best movie of all time. I especially suggest it if you liked this movie, but it's capable of appealing to non-gamers too. Personalities are more developed, the adventure is more exciting, there are more fun people in it, it's at least as funny, if not funnier, and Nathan Rice and The Purple Ninja appear in it too. As for this movie... 2nd greatest ever. Just had to say that.
