  • @cubanfotos Thanks for the tip man

  • at 3:22, that's the exact conterfeit Cohiba with the same box that I paid 20 dollars in Montego Bay, Jamaica 10 years ago :)

  • @osmantalu Well, that's quite a shame (:

But did they taste okay, and were there any bugs in/on them?

  • god Jamaicans suck at rolling cigars they one need the crutch of a rolling machine and two they don't even use full filler leaves that stuff looks like processed cigarette tobacco

  • @alinzana Jamaicans don't speak french. French is spoken in this video.

  • I wonder how many cigars they make each day :S

  • I like Hoyo de Monterey or El Rey del Mundo. I love the later the most, but Hoyo;s are a nice alt for a decent price.

Some manufacturers produce several different "brands" under the same roof using mostly the same tobacco. Not all, but a friend of mine worked with a guy whose parents owned and operated a cigar tobacco plantation. They made for 3 different brands. They used different blends of tobaccos and put different bands on them in different boxes. But all made in the same location.

  • Thompson Cigar Co is the place to go for mail order cigars best prices you'll find on the net.

  • My personal favorites are the Cuban Cohiba cigars. Better than Monte Cristo. The company was founded to supply cigars to Castro. They are made from the most premium Cuban Tabacco which undergoes an extra fermentation process.

  • u dont inhale cigars?

  • nope, its like drinking through a straw, you just expand your mouth.

  • cigar tobacco is not made to inhale...totally different animal then ciggs.

  • WHITE OWLS FOR LIFE! lol

  • Rocky Patel makes a decent smoke. Buy mail order and they are pretty cheap.

  • Davidoff are very good turds, but friggin expensive!! You'll pay from $250 up to $500+ a box for these. If ur just starting try the Macanudo line, real mello, nice. MonteCristo's are great. I prefer anything from Arturo Fuente, churchill is a good size.. AVOID CHEAP CIGARS!!! it's not worth it, just gonna burn your throat. Better to buy fewer good cigars then lots of cheapys. I mail order from Holt's cigar co..

  • Amen. I have a huge humidor. When I first got it I wanted to fill it to the brim with whatever I could afford. I guess I had seen a ton of movies where they had a metric crap-ton and thought it was cool. I soon realized you should keep your box about half full or more, but if they are all crap cigars, it is a waste of money. I would suggest buying a bundle of crap cigars just to keep the humidity up for the good ones until you can afford to fill it with good ones. Then toss those bad ones out.

  • @matits2 Or smoke the bad ones as well, its a bit of a waste otherwise is it not?

  • Anyone knows what`s the best cigars for beginners. I heard the MonteCristo No.4 are good for beginners.. Why.??

  • Cubans, or others?

The Cuban's are fairly mild and easy going. That's probably why you were recommended them.

  • try davidoff. they're mild and easy to smoke

  • montecristo's are the best the range from 5 to 1, 5 being the cheapest and mildest, 1 being the strongest and most expensive, they all come in two sizes. 4's are good because there cheapish and very easy to smoke, but still have the montecristo quality

  • dont forget , jamiacan cigars are also the best in the world , my uncle would always smoke royal jamaicans . I would love to smoke a cigar that was made with tobacco grown in rich volcanic nutrient rich soil , something like that would be the most flavorfull

  • @baja5bcrazed - You're crazy! You're preference is bias and not true. Cuban cigars are world renowned.

  • oooo damn...wish i could have a breath of that luxury... i'm off for a smoke now man!

  • That was pretty helpful and informative for the tourists....was that a structured tour or just some dude helping out?

  • Don't get me wrong I love my Dominicans and there are good rollers but as far as the technique and quality goes, Cuba's number 1 by far.

  • why are cuban cigars so special

  • they are illegal

and thats there primary crop of Cuba, and it is tastyer

  • just in the states, back in spain my dad got me a box of 20 for my 18th birthday.

  • @hcorebabysean they are not illegal, if you live in the u.s. your just not allowed to ship them, but you are allowed to smoke them in the u.s.

  • @elpicos8091 well then genious did they magically appear in the U.S.... if you cannot ship them, then they are illegal. They are not illegal to smoke because i isn't possible to identify it

  • beacuse its something to do with there ground in cuba that makes it the best to grow the leaves in or something haha so they taste better than all the rest

  • Cuba is highly regarded as the best place to grow tobacco, the soil, and climate are perfect. But in the United States they are illegeal due to an embargo. Most experienced cigar smokers will tell you there is very little difference from Dominican cigars from Cuban. And some Dominicans are BETTER then Cubans.

  • There is a big difference between the Cuban cigar and the Domincan made cigar. For one thing, in case you didn't notice those cigars were very poorly made, I'm a cigar roller myself so I know what I'm talking about. The Cuban cigar is superior. If an "experienced smoker" says there's very little difference its because Cubans have to use the dominican tobacco leaves since we can't use our own due to the embargo.

  • i don't think it makes to much difference here they come from, most cigars from Latin America are good.I think its just because Cuban cigars are harder to get

  • I disagree somewhat. The place they come from does make a difference in the final cigar. The climates are similar but due to geographic locations, even in the slightest, can produce mildly different climates all together. A cigar produced in Cuba by the same people who moved out of Cuba to meet the demands of Cuban-esque cigars for America (due to embargo) will taste way different, even if made by the same hands in both places. Only subtle nuances. If you are new to it, you won't notice.

  • do you mind if i go for cigar learning, i am cigar aficionado. maybe some other days, you can develop the huge and potential cigar market in CHINA.

  • This video does not show premium dominican cigar manufacturing.

Dominican cigars can be as good as Cuban, it will all depend on the quality of the process.

By the way, those Cohibas on the video are fakes. 99% of Cohiba and Montecristo sold in D.R. are fakes.

  • Youre probably so fag that you can tell who the fag people are. Only this time youre wrong.

  • You know nothing about Cigars do you? I'm 16 and i know more then you.

  • of course the cohibas in the video were fake. he spend half the time explaining they were fake and why.

  • not tru Cubans hav something in the soil that is unique to northern cuba Havana area that makes them like no other. however the companys have imported those seeds into D.R. they truely just arnt the same my friend, not to take away from their quality because they are very good also Habanos are on a different level.

  • this was a grate video more people like you should be on youtube

  • Great video man, i learned alot

  • i hate it when women smoke cigars, when are they going to realize cigars are only for men!

  • amen

  • when we travel back in time to the 1800's dick

  • @bman7492 yea. but some girls can make it look sexy.

  • @bman7492 Yeah, they should leave us something: they are already doctors, police officers and have our balls in a nice velvet bag when we get married.

  • @bman7492 idk i've got a hot blonde friend and it's pretty sexy to watch

  • @bman7492

    SHut up ! asshole.

  • Spanish cedar is also used because of the natural oils in the wood, Tese oils help the cigar age gracefully. Allso the Spanish cedar will not give taste or odor to the cigar, that is why a descent humidor is of Spanich cedar

  • cubans are better

  • lol . . . I stand corrected. Give me a break I was on week four of 6 weeks of travel and the stress of beaches and food . . . lead to a certain degree of brain deteriorattion . . . I plead insanity and vow to continue visiting cigar shops with my new enlightenment of cedar facts.

  • That's why women should not be in a cigar shop... Spanish cedar is used because it's a very forgiving and aeromatic. It's meant to release and absorb moisture and humidity to keep the cigars fresh, to prevent drying, cracking and mold. Jamaican cigars? Lady, the only stick you'll see a Jamaican man smoking is a blunt.
