  • I learned more then this then anything I have ever read in the bible. If these teachings were followed today the world would not be the terrible place it is today. God knows I love me some Jesus but this guy is amazing.

  • THIS VIDEO MUST BE FROM SOME IDIOT WHO THINKS WE ARE SLEEP..HE WHITEY STOP STEALING OUR HISTORY AND TRYING TO FUCK WITH OUR REALITY.. OURS IS NOT YOURS..black history is beautiful and everything that shows how strong and wonderful our people are and they that are in opposition arenot.. and never will be.. ever.. never.. eat that..LIAR..

  • Amen!!!

  • is this from the book?

  • amazing !!!!

  • The teachings of Ptahotep are awesome enough that their is no point in lying (and even losing credibility) on its age and the date at which the text was written. Like most ancient egyptians, Ptahotep must have died by 40-50 and the text was not written until at least the end of the Old kingdom that is 4000 years ago...

  • @DeusVivus he did not die between 40-50 lmao...you start off as a priest at 47 it take's about 40 years to beecome one...

  • @B7acKLioN That is just not true in Ancient Egyptian society. Sons of pharaohs would typically assume priestly functions at a young age, see for example Rahotep (see wikipedia Prince Rahotep) who was among other things, priest of Ra and died young.

  • @DeusVivus dude you said that they started preistly function's at a young age ''no shit''.if it takes 40 years they strted appr at a young age lmao...an alot of people at that time died at a very old age ramessou i died at approx 105 years old...

  • @B7acKLioN No actually the life expectancy was about 40, Ramses II is an uncommon example and what's more drawn from the upper-classes (who had a slightly longer life expectancy ~45). Thus it is clear that priests started to be priest at a pretty young age (maybe ~20). However, clearly the more they live, the higher the rank.

  • thank you for this, peace

  • Ptah neb Maat.

  • Outstanding vid .

The music is also amazing :))

  • It's really disappointing and embarrassing how one can be assured that if there is any type of video on YT regarding Black history or culture, there will be some racist making absurd comments. 2011 or not. I now feel sorry for these people. I can't imagine how it is to feel so unimportant.

  • @7ROBG I agree.. :/

  • @7ROBG

I agree it is sad and disheartening to see people hold on to racial prejudice (pathetic really).

However this is not only black history/culture. This is human culture!

The words "black history" annoy me to no end as it suggests it is somehow different than other human history...

Can we stop driving wedges into us please( We, the people, we have many colors, we speak many languages, and this is our shared history)

    anyway... end rant.

  • Robjoshow u wrong. And ignorant

  • Ptah was an African and the first to ever write a book. How great we are, how great we are, I love being African.

  • @germanyinthehouse The next african to write a useful book, will be the first.

  • @hannityforpres ...and the next in your family to READ one will be the first in that family. Hotep.

  • pedantes pedantes pedantes a tutiplé...la mayoria de la gente no aprende nada de lo que leen...

  • It's a nice video of african proverbs!...

  • Power vid!!

  • Jesus said it, do not say to your brother, come here brother so that I may see to take the splinter out of your eye - oh hypocrite first take the beam out of your own so that you may see to take the splinter out of your brother's eye. Remember the devil is the accuser.

  • Thank you for creating this beautiful experience. One of the ways we have gone wrong is always picking holes in each other and seeing the dark side which to some degree must for now exist anyway along with the light, it is our shadow. Can we not give our attention to the good and wonderful things, people and experiences that God has made.

  • thanks for reminding me of my Ancestor, Cushitic ancestors saying's and teachings, indeed fellow abOriginals worldwide, need to benefit from tehse undenyable truths/sayings of Ptah-Hotep...

    HTPeace

  • On this Sabbath of the God of our father Abraham, I look to see where in history the world went wrong. I see this as an inspiration, but the people of the time looked upon the man as a God, and no man is God.

The value of these words are in their truth, globally this is nice and 'looks good' but that Egypt was a super Power of the world at the time, and all that imploded that nation is doing the same to ameriKKKa and other nations around the world.

Good words though none the less

  • this is an awesome video. would love more on the same idea...kemetic wisdom is vast.

  • BEST BOOK EVER!!!

  • @beatriz15272 The Instructions of Amenemope are much better ;-).

  • @bjggjb : Eye Don't Know How U Rate Hoe -Bama As The Worse But The Piece Ain't Great...Andrew Jackson Physically Killed Unprotected Native Black American & Indian Women & Children...When Abraham [Seminole Military Genius] Gave Jackson His Bloody Nose...Then There Is Abraham Lincoln That Did A Deal With The European-Bankers Onsetting The Americas As A CORPORATION while Killing 600,000 People In A War Game Of Debts!!!!Btw...Hoe-Bama Isn't Nuwbun..He's A Nuwbun Pheno-Type With B-Blood-Type=CRAKKA!

  • @bjggjb No, I believe your parents have this honor. Hotep.

  • @josephortizgarcia If I were president of the U.S. I'd have better things to do than respond to your ill-favored attempt at a put-down, my friend.

But I'm sure my parents would be just as pleased as Punch with me...

  • @bjggjb I'm not your friend, be sure. Hotep.

  • @josephortizgarcia Ooh, is that supposed to hurt me, dickhead?

You're not my friend? Great. I just came into some money yesterday; thanks for giving me TWO things to be happy for.

  • @bjggjb Hey listen, My bad!! Those messages were not meant for you! I beg your pardon!

  • @bjggjb yea after all of the other useless white ones fucked everything up... excuse the french.

  • @anarchopaperclip ..AS I always say ''Each1Teach1Educate ALL'' ... Thank you for YOUR INsight ...

  • Presentation is quite good though. Astral soundtrack is a bit cheezy, but it's ok.

  • Nearly all of the texts of the ancient south american civilizations were destroyed as well.

  • LMAO.

    Oh my, where to start?

1/ It was written 4,400 years ago, not 6,000 years ago.

2/ This isn't the oldest book of the world. the Instructions of Shuruppak are at least 200 years older.

3/ Ptah Hotep was a vizier, not a priest.

4/ We don't have no clear information regarding his life, the fact that he was 110 years old has been pulled out of an hat.

I know, I killed the romanticism a bit, but I can't stand seeing hard-earned archeological facts twisted up for free by new-age enthusiasts.

  • We will never know what the oldest books are thanks to Europeans. The burning of texts when they were all consolidated into one location (dumb) after Greek/Roman conquest of the land. Nubia is known to have preceded Egypt with what little information was able to be salvaged before the flooding during the building of the aswan dam.

  • @0alstonw0 Conquerors have burnt books and artifacts to wipe away history and memory of the conquered. Bible records show Abraham, Saul, David, Solomon burnt down shrines and artifacts of conquered.

However, some peoples kept their knowledge in the Mind through ORAL education; the Luo, Celt, Hindu and many other peoples have kept their HISTORY oral. GWEYO (reciting/singing of poems) is both Luo and Keltic (Celtic). GWEYO is written GWERZ and pronounced GWEYO in Brezhoneg (Breton).

  • @0alstonw0

Citizen of United states says "thanks to europeans". I wonder who are your predecesors and who founded United States of America?

    Asians? No

    Africans? No

a question for you: the residents of what continent not listed above, had ships, supplies and military power strong enough to conquer the natives of another continent, that was thousands of miles away? :) This is not Europeans you should "thank to", it would rather be missinterpretation of religious writings, greed, etc... :)

  • @Narsius7777777 Their ships which used arab sails (laughs)! I guess if you take pride in being "civilized" enough by the moors also using arab gun powder technology to destroy civilizations more advanced in many instances than your own. I'd look up c section operation and african origins. I'd also see ancient west african megacities on my page as well as they came before columbus (1500 b.c. to be exact) Your people lessoned the knowledge base of humanity by destroying Timbuktu's manuscripts

  • @anarchopaperclip

"There are authors who date the Maxims of Ptahhotep much earlier than the 25th century. For instance, Pulitzer Prize winning historian Will Durant dates these writings as early as 2880 BCE within The Story of Civilization: Our Oriental History. Durant claims that Ptahhotep or Ptah-Hotep could be considered the very first philosopher in virtue of having the earliest and surviving fragments of moral philosophy (i.e., "The Maxims of Ptah-Hotep")."

    Wikipedia

  • @knowitallification

That's still far from 4,000 BC. But I don't know how Durant came with that number, because Ptah-Hotep is thought to be a vizier under the reign of Djedkare Isesi , 24142375 BC.

  • @anarchopaperclip ..Each1Teach1Educate ALL ... Thank you for INsight ...
